The Prime Roll was made with Tempura Shrimp, Cream Cheese, Scallion, & Beef Carpaccio. The thinly sliced beef carpaccio sat atop the sushi.
The 16oz Ribeye was cooked perfectly. It was well-marbled (but lean trimmed) & robust in rich beef flavor.
Berries & Bubbles was made with Belvedere Organic Lemon & Basil Vodka, Marinated Blackberries, & Fresh Lemon Juice.
Beet Salad
We had to try one of the Seafood Season Specials (available February 20th & onwards). The King Salmon was pan seared & served over potatoes.
From their newly renovated dining rooms to their lounge, & seasonal outdoor terrace, this is a prime spot to socialize.
Chilean Sea Bass
The hamachi was smoothly luscious. The chili garlic oil added subtle spice that enhanced the richness of the tuna.
Bread
The 16oz Ribeye was cooked perfectly. It was well-marbled (but lean trimmed) & robust in rich beef flavor.
Jumbo Lump Crab Cake
Gimlet
The tots were crisp potato pillows of cheesy goodness. The interior was hot & fluffy with potato and creamy cheese.

Beautiful room, fun and Interesting cocktails and delicious and well prepared food. We attended a work event and we were well taken care of and all enjoyed our meals. I shared the scallops and a filet with a dinner mate, and we both got desserts. The carrot cake! This is a next level experience which is probably not as budget friendly, but entirely worth it. Splurge.

Upscale restaurant with impeccable service team. Our order was lobster bisque, Caesar salad, lobster linguine and a kids Mac and cheese with buttered corn. We were given a basket of complimentary bread, it was soft baked pretzel sticks and artisan sourdough. It was served with soft room-temperature butter, and we enjoyed it all. Food was presented nicely and tasted good!My husband enjoyed a few local Pale Ale's on draft. The ambiance was cozy, but contemporary and had just the right lighting and intimacy. I would love to return and try a steak! Would definitely recommend if in the mood for an elevated meal.

This upscale fish/steakhouse doesn't disappoint! Inside, you will find a modern, warm feel, with a spacious dining room upstairs and down. We were seated upstairs, overlooking Larimer Street. We recently visited for my wife's birthday before heading to the Denver Performing Arts complex for Hamilton. Our waiter Danny was very in tune with our time constraints and started off our visit discussing these details. We started with some delicious cocktails. My wife had the Black Orchid, and I had one of their signature Old Fashioneds. Both were excellent. For an appetizer, we had the "SURF N TURF," which consisted of two scallops, a braised short rib, and a potato puree. This was perfect. The scallops were perfectly prepared and melted in your mouth, and the short rib was rich and just as tender. Our entrees were also excellent. My wife had the Florida Grouper with lobster, gnocchi, and spring peas in lemon jus. The fish was again cooked to perfection, and the jus was rich and flavorful. It was a delightful dish all around. I had the Blackened Snapper with corn spoon bread, Swiss chard, and corn emulsion. This was every bit as good as a dish you would find in a high-end fish house in the South. Danny made some fantastic wine recommendations that complemented the meals nicely and were precisely what we desired. To finish the meal, they bought my wife's dessert, the Mile High Carrot Cake with cream cheese icing and pineapple syrup. This cake was 10" tall and had about two dozen layers. Rich and moist, it was just the perfect way to end a great meal.

Very fancy corner location and great for special occasions. The seafood was very fresh and I loved the super sour sourdough bread basket. The staff was extremely attentive. The dining rooms were dimly lit and very chic. I highly recommend this fine dining experience for a special date or occasion or business dinner.

Been here a few times, service and vibes are always great. Wanted to rate some of the food we ordered that were new items for us!Bone in Ribeye - 7/10, it was good but to be honest it didn't compare to the one we make at homeBernaise sauce - 1/10, some flavor in this just was not right. All of us tried it and not fans at allPeppercorn sauce - 3/10, too sweetTruffle butter - 8/10, what you'd expect...I'd like a little salt but honestly pretty goodScallops - 10/10 WOW absolutely phenomenal and the risotto had me drooling Tuna tartare - 10/10 so so so freakin delicious. Perfect balance of flavors and textures, obsessed Chocolate cake - 3/10 way too rich more than one bite hurtsCarrot cake - 9/10 very very good, my only critique is that cream cheese frosting would take this to a 10/10 but still great Asparagus - 0/10 no flavor and the pieces are very thick and taste like nothing... the the hollandaise we'd give a 8/10 it was yummy

Wow. This place is stunning. The building, the decor, the hosts, the bartenders, the servers, the whole staff. Everyone and everything, stunning. I don't eat at a lot of restaurants because I've learned how to cook and sometimes home cooked meals are 10x better than food at restaurants. But Ocean Prime really outdoes itself in every way imaginable. There wasn't a single thing I ate that I didn't like. And the moscato is as smooth as the butter they put in their food. I think about it quite often actually. It's tempting to just buy a bottle. I could go into detail about the flavour and everything but I don't want to. I'd rather you just experience it for yourself. Eating at Ocean Prime is a flavour experience. Thanks you for my congratulations carrot cake, thank you for caring, and I'll always cherish such a fond memory.

When rating a high-end establishment like Ocean Prime it's a challenge because you must consider all aspects of the business. Food quality, service, atmosphere and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my daughter's 30th birthday celebration went from awesome to average in very short order. Our waitress was an excellent, seasoned employee who knows a quite a lot about the restaurant but was soon overwhelmed when she went from one to three tables quickly. I observed quietly as our party of five talked and enjoyed the evening. The table next to us had a different waitress who seemed to give her one table awesome attention. We arrived at 5pm and were seated in the corner as they filled tables around us. The drinks were excellent, and the calamari appetizer was very good. She took our order and then the party was over. Our waitress was now busy getting the other tables orders. After watching the four surrounding tables being served their meals, I started to scratch my head that something was amiss. I had to stand up briefly to grab her attention and she immediately knew what I was about to say. She said, "I know sir, checking on your order now". After that our plates started to arrive. She sat every dish to the wrong person, so we switched them around until everyone was eating. My steak, Oscar style came out lukewarm, like it had been sitting for a few in the back. I asked my wife and others who said theirs were good. Bottom line is I did grab one of the Managers who said he would take care of it, discounted the tab, but since I wasn't the paying party I'm not sure what it was he took care of. Needless to say, we had a very long two-hour dinner, but not by choice. All the other parties who arrived after us had left. I do like it here and pretty sure this was a one-off mis hap. I am going to stop writing now, but left a tad frustrated. Ocean Prime is a fine establishment, who I would say yes to if asked. My apologies, as this experience I did have to get off my chest.

4.5 stars. I love a good steakhouse, and Ocean Prime is a prime spot in Denver. I've been wanting to come here for awhile, so a group of us went for Restaurant Week. Staff was overworked, and I'm going to chalk it up to exhaustion and not sketchiness that they gave us false information about the Restaurant Week menu and charged us for sparkling water we didn't order. The food itself was incredible. I had the Lobster Bisque, 6 oz Filet, Sea Scallops, and of course the Carrot Cake. Everything was delicious, paired perfectly with a Dirty Martini. It's normally quite pricey, as expected for this location, but I would love to be taken here again for a fancy date night. Kinda hilarious we were seated in the conference room, complete with TV.

Service is amazing and very tentative.Beautiful warm romantic atmosphere.Drinks were delicious and strong. Will always be craving this sushi! The surf and turf was just the right amount of rich with soft fresh scallops and tender beef. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were melting in our mouths. We also had the lobster macaroni and it was a large helping that is easy to share, but you won't want to!This was a birthday dinner for myself from my husband and I absolutely loved it!

Located downtown on the corner of Denver's historic Larimer Square, Ocean Prime is one of my favorite spots to celebrate & indulge. From their newly renovated dining rooms to their lounge, & seasonal outdoor terrace, this is a prime spot to socialize. There are Ocean Prime locations in downtown Denver & in the Denver Tech Center. We were seated upstairs overlooking Larimer Square which was all lit up along with the city (such a vibe). The staff of Ocean Prime was exceptional as always - GM, Travis and server, Royce were polished and so likeable. We wanted for nothing during our meal & let them run the show, they knew the menu inside out and out. The aesthetics of the space along with the staff set the tone for an incredible meal.We started with a round of Black Orchids made with Belvedere Organic Blackberry & Lemongrass Infusion, St. Germain, Fresh Lemon & White Cranberry Juice. This is my favorite cocktail at Ocean Prime. The Black Orchid came in a martini glass with an ice orb that held an orchid flower inside. The cocktail had aromas & flavors of blackberry & lemon that burst onto the palate with a lovely juicy sweetness - refreshing and so easy to drink. The Smoked Old Fashioned was made with Angel's Envy Rye Whiskey, House Demerara Syrup, Angostura & Orange Bitters, & Charred Cherry Wood Smoke. I really enjoyed this Old Fashioned; it was served from a decanter and poured into an etched highball glass. In that glass was a pristine 2x2 Ocean Prime ice cube. The cherry wood smoke sexily combined with the whiskey when poured. The cocktail was smooth with notes of dark caramel, maple syrup and a fading smokiness. The Berries & Bubbles was made with Belvedere Organic Lemon & Basil Vodka, Marinated Blackberries, Fresh Lemon Juice, Piper Sonoma Brut, & Dry Ice Smoke. This cocktail is always a crowd pleaser with the dry ice smoke bubbles and fruit forward taste. The Hot & Dirty Martini was made with Olive Oil Infused Belvedere Vodka, Calabrian Chili Blue Cheese Stuffed Castelvetrano Olives. The martini was shaken vigorously with ice, strained into a prism coup and garnished with stuffed olives. For food we started off with Ocean Prime's complementary bread - the pretzel bread was my favorite. The Smoking Shellfish Tower was made with oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, and chilled crab meat cocktail. The tower was showstopping. The generous pieces of chilled crab dipped in the Crab-Louie sauce was my favorite. The Point Judith Calamari was served with sweet chili sauce. The fresh calamari rings were lightly breaded and fried golden. The sweet chili sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The Chef's Feature Sushi Roll was made with Sea Bass Tempura. The crunch and sweetness of the roll made for great flavor & texture. The Hamachi Crudo was served with Pickled Mango, Sweet Peppers, Cilantro, Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette. Gorgeous sushi dish and so fresh. The Chilean Sea Bass was served with Broccolini, Pearl Onion, Potato Puree, & Truffle Vinaigrette. The Chilean Sea Bass is Ocean Prime's most popular entree and if you've never had it, you must. The Chilean Sea Bass had a mild, delicate flavor & the light fish melted in our mouths. The truffle vinaigrette was luscious. The 16oz Ribeye was cooked perfectly. It was well-marbled (but lean trimmed) & robust in rich beef flavor. We had to try one of the Seafood Season Specials (available February 20th & onwards). The King Salmon was pan seared & served over Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes, Buttered Leeks, Shiitake Mushrooms, and Haricot Verts. This dish was finished with a Pinot Noir Butter and Castelvetrano Olive TapenadeFor sides we had the Jalapeno Au Gratin, Asparagus & Hollandaise, and the Smoked Gouda Tater Tots. The tots were crisp potato pillows of cheesy goodness. The interior was hot & fluffy with potato and creamy cheese. For Dessert we had the Warm Butter Cake served with Fresh Berries, Vanilla Ice Cream, Raspberry Sauce and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie made with Peanut Butter Mousse & Bittersweet Chocolate Ganache. The Warm Butter Cake is one of my top 3 favorite desserts in Denver. The cake was piping hot with vanilla ice cream melting atop. The sugar exterior was lightly crisped with a densely moist interior making for gooey & buttery bites. The bright fresh fruit complimented the rich cake perfectly. A must order! To end this phenomenal meal - we toasted with champagne.
