Overall, the cake tasted good and was light enough for our asian parents to enjoy. Also very easy to place my order over text.Docking a few stars for the following reasons:- I asked for fresh strawberries and blueberries for the filling, but there was barely any fruit inside...- Cake design was nothing like i had ordered. I actually didn't notice how odd the design was until i got home and put the cake topper on (see photo) Maybe just go with a simple design.Lastly, don't try to pick up your cake earlier than the scheduled time. First time I've experienced a cake not being made earlier than scheduled pickup--I must be spoiled. I came by 2 hrs early (at 11am) when my pickup was at 1. They were still making the cake and said to come by 1. She mentioned they get backed up on weekends and don't have a lot of staff, so I get it. Came by at 2 just to make sure it was done. Just want to call that out; don't come earlier than your scheduled pickup time.

Called in on a Friday to see if I can get a cake on Saturday night for my birthday party. I ordered the green tea fruit cake to be picked up after 4 PM on Saturday, and it was perfect! Not too sweet, proportionate cream to bread ratio, and the fruits were fresh.On another occasion, this bakery also did my sister's birthday cake which was requested ahead of time with a specific aesthetic in mind (picture attached, name scribbled out for privacy sake). Again, it was perfect!The inside of the store is pretty typical, has Korean pastries and even offers shaved ice. But as we all know, it's the inside that counts ;)

This bakery was amazing! When I asked my son what he wanted for his fourth birthday all he kept saying was an outer space astronaut cake. I bought my own astronauts for the top and told her all I needed was a simple purple, dark blue, and light blue swirl cake with some white flecks for stars and I'd add the cake topper. The cake we picked up was better than I could have ever expected! She added little plants and stars and a banner with his name. When I showed my son he was jumping up and down with excitement!!! He loved it! Added bonus that it tasted amazing too!!

Amazing bakery that helped me exactly what I needed - a customized birthday cake for my brother. I was visiting from out of town and called in beforehand to confirm the type of cake I wanted as well as a special request for a pharmacy-themed design. The lady who helped me was great throughout the whole process.The cake was ready for me to pick up and was more special than I'd imagined it! Picked up a couple of red bean buns cause I couldn't resist and those were great too. Would not hesitate to come back here again next time I visit.

Green tea birthday cake- It was gorgeous & so delicious! Every guest complemented on it and asked where we got it. The green tea is just slightly sweet and was perfectly balanced with the whipped icing and fruit.The baker is such a sweet woman who genuinely cares about her work. Can't wait to try more of her baked goods!

New York Bakery has exceptional customer service where they make every customer feel like a member of their family! They make excellent custom cake orders, even if you have a tight deadline! Mia was able to accommodate me last minute with my days notice request and she did not disappoint. I had a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like, and she was able to execute and was very kind throughout the whole process. The cake was beautiful, moist and made with love. It also wasn't super sweet like most cakes, everyone was complimenting the cake saying how delectable it was. I love supporting minority owned establishments and this is a bakery that I will continue to support forever.

I needed a cake with day's notice and this baker listened to what we wanted. I wanted a fruit cake with less frosting and not overly sweet because my parents prefer Asian cakes. She was able to adapt to this and even wrote happy birthday in Chinese. It was a beautiful cake and my parents liked it. The cake was moist and had the right texture. I would've liked more fruit and fruit variety in the cake, but it was fine.

Heavenly, delicious Christmas cake, or cake for any occasion! The layered fruit was juicy and fresh, i dont know how they keep the fruit so crunchy and the cake so spongy. Not soggy at all! Indeed the freshest cake and baked goods in Aurora! I will highly recommend this Korean bakery to anyone.

Its Korean bakery specializing in baked goods favored by Asians. Most items are $1 per piece. They have rolls, macaroons and specialty roll cakes at very good price. If you are adventurous, visit to this place is must. Owner is very friendly, and always give you something extra if you buy more than $5. They also have bottled drinks.9/12/2010, i have been a regular patron and noticed lot more customers. he has introduced new items and lately, i have been getting freshly baked dinner rolls (about 10 in a large bag) for trip to my dads house.. its becoming his favorite.. my favorite has been fried tofu strips. .. got lots of protein n great for building/maintaining muscles.

It was not was I was expecting from the name. I was expecting some bagels and traditional loaves of bread and maybe some baguettes. Instead, it was a Korean bakery with some Korean baked breads and pastries like you find at the local Korean markets. I believe you can order cakes there too that are lighter than the cakes you get at the grocery store bakery.
