Neveria La Mexicana

Excellent place for Mexican street style bites! This place is located on Colfax, and there is a parking lot right next to it! We did have to wait quite a bit in line while other people ordered and got their items. The items are made as you order, so it does take some time to make. There was only one employee and she was doing the best she could to make all the orders, as she took them. She was patient and kind! Please make sure yall tip her if she's alone - cause she was making it happen!! If you're in a hurry and she's alone, come back later with some patience! The place was cute inside, there are seats in there but I don't think this is good for large groups. Everything was packaged to go which made it easier to take leftovers home. This was a great find and I'm looking forward to coming back here again, especially as it gets hotter!

I've been going here since I was a kid. This was my dad's favourite place to take me as a child. The food is amazing and offer many varieties of ice creams, food, and blended items. I've tried many fresas con crema at other places but this one is by far my favourite flavour wise and price for what you get. The lady's working there are always so nice and try to help you as soon as you walk in the door. At times the restaurant can get busy and noisy with family's especially during the summer but don't let that push you away from creating amazing memories with your family well eating amazing Mexican sweets!

Over priced, the ice cream wasn't that great. Was expecting a better place for Mexican ice cream. Will give it another try and maybe the next time will be better.

You might not get what you order if you don't speak Spanish but even so you'll get something delicious! I got a bionico and a Chamoyada de mango (AKA mangonada). The bionico is a fruit parfait made with watermelon, strawberry, cantaloupe and pineapple with yogurt on top and honey. You can get nuts and coconut on top. I wanted both but I think the employee misunderstood me and only put walnuts. That cost around $5.50. The mangonada is freshly blended mango mixed with chamoy sauce served with a tamarind candy straw. They have lots of other foods like hot dogs, burgers, chocolate covered banana Popsicles, takis, ceviche, tacos, etc. The interior has about 5 tables and there's no outdoor seating. I'm unsure of the hours but I think weekdays it closes around 8:30 PM (they didn't list hours at their storefront). I'm definitely going to return here to try their savory options! Stay tuned!

You guys ... I found the best spot in town! It is sooooo delicious!! I've been here twice and I've already tried everything on the menu! I usually get the chilindrina , torta, fresas con crema , elote en vaso , y una manzana loca! Their ice cream is bomb as well! I've tried the coconut tostado , algodón, café expresó, y guayaba! I repeat it is the best spot in town for Mexican dessert!

The Torta and ice cream is amazing. So is the service. So glad I live right next door to this amazing place.

Fruit and Ice cream galore :). Their menu is so extensive it was hard to make up my mind on what to order. The lady at the counter was very patient, she described the desserts of which I had questions with. They sell all kind of fruit and pair it with chamoy, chilli powder or ice cream and their specialty creams. I hadn't eaten all day so I've got my backseat full with a to-go order. I ordered a ham "torta," a green juice which contains spinach and cucumbers and other fruits. Got myself an order of large tostilocos and an "eskamocha". I can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner! I love me some Mexican desserts!

OMGGG this place was BOMBDIGTY good! It was my first time here and I will be sure to come back again! I ordered myself a Magonada or Chamango and it was soo good! They even have the options of getting a large or medium and I opted for a large since it was only a dollar more! They were no kidding about a large one! It was definitely BIG! It wasn't that cheap compared to California but it was worth it. I'm a fan !

My absolute favorite place to go for a Mexican snack!!! Great prices, great portions and great tasting !

10 out of 10 I would totally recommend! Everything is so good from their ice cream flavors to the dori nachos,tortas and etc. Favorite ice cream shop in Denver! The employees are super nice and very attentive.
