My Boy Tony

Stopped in for an aperol spritz as we made our way down Tennyson. A cute, cool vibe of a cocktail bar. We will be back to try some of their own cocktails but, the noise level was reasonable, so you could hear the people you were with and they made us an aperol spritz upon request.

I'm a sucker for a swanky bar, especially anywhere on Tennyson St. I came here for a private event, where the customer service was great. The staff took care of us, not to mention the birthday boy ordered pizza from Fat Sully's nearby. Always sweet when outside food can be brought into a bar. I only had the sake here, and I have a feeling my rating will get bumped up to 5 stars when I finally try their cocktails. Definitely still on my list!

Okay, so I really, really dig this bar. I hate the soulless space that the gentrification of Tennyson street now holds but this bar is warm and friendly. The decor is so cool, the drinks are good and service is what I know this street use to be known for in a bar. Good job!

Our group spontaneously stopped in here on a late Saturday afternoon and didn't have any trouble getting a spot to sit, but it was packed by the time we left. The atmosphere is really nice. There isn't a large cocktail selection, but I liked the daiquiri. We had to go up to the bar to order and there could be a long line.

Inside and Out, this place is special. Well curated and comfortable, with an emphasis on conscious conversation, MBT has created a serene and socially spacious setting for the neighborhood to settle and speak spontaneously. Walk in, grab a drink at the corner of the bar, and get down to details. There are no distractions, just you and yours and whatever is happening between y'all. The patio adds a dimension of secluded spaciousness that's harmoniously helpful and hard to find in the highlands. "You wanna be where you can see our troubles are all the same. You wanna be where everyone knows your name." Cheers

This is replacing the book bar which I loved. They did a good job with the interior. They have a nice selection of wines. Drinks are on the expensive side. Wish they used large cubes for their drinks I stead of crushed ice (especially at the price they charging). But overall it has good ambiance and is not pretentious.

New bar on Tennyson with a gorgeous interior. Great cocktails, surprisingly easy to hear your group. This feels like the perfect place to take a date or friends from out of town who are staying nearby.

Creatures, music, fun, a warm and loving staff. One of the best places in Northwest Denver. The music or the staff? Which one is better? You have Dillon, Joey (the good one), and Jess and the rest of the crew who really make working look fun. The staff is a real hoot with a music taste better than any bar in Denver. My Boy Tony is dark enough to lurk but yet the staff shines with light! There is always conversation to be had. The staff is dedicated to providing a nice stable place for a drink or a million.Wonderful things to consider; I have not personally seen the blob sliding around the bar trying to eat people. My Boy Tony does a great job of keeping the blob at bay. It's easy to have a drink when you are not worried about the blob trying to eat you. Dillon seems to really know how to keep horrid creatures out of the bar for the most part.

Usually I have a great time here, but the dark haired female bartender that was working here last night was downright rude each time I ordered a drink to the point of my partner asking if we did something to offend her (we didn't other than try to order drinks apparently). Looks like Lisa M was there last night and had the same experience.... Validating that it wasn't just us. I actually came on here to see if anyone had a similar experience.

This is a great place to go if you want to be treated like sh!t! I'm so grateful for the reminder of why I don't go to trendy bars like this in Denver. The bartenders were rude, unfriendly and not at all accommodating.. . If you would like to go to a bar and be treated like you are a major inconvenience and annoyance, then definitely this is your spot!
