It's giving southern comfort, hole in the wall, a place where everyone knows your name vibe. And I love it!

Reminded me of back home down south. I love a safe, fun "hole in the wall" bar. Definitely not a lounge But everyone there was friendly, happy and welcoming. DJ takes music requests but expect to hear music of old lol with a sprinkle of recent hits. If you want to go somewhere and feel like you're at a family backyard bbq with auntie and dem, this the place!Drinks were ok and not high priced.

Went on Saturday night with my wife and birthday kids. What a sexual ambience of amazing mix of an older crowd. If you ever seen Idlewild this is what the crowd reminds me of. Great r&b and good prices on all their drinks. There is no cover charge and if you want a table, you must be there early. Very crowded with mix of casual and classy crowd. Two food trucks are present outside the club. I only remember one being a BBQfood truck.

Denver's Friendliest Lounge?! Uhh, not so much....So, the roommate and I decided to stop in here and see if it was in fact the friendly lounge it claims to be. When they asked us for our ID's, I whipped out my Colorado issued drivers license...no big whoop. Since my roommates wallet went missing, he uses his passport as ID. Mr. A's denied us service because they do not accept passports as a form of ID. COMO SAY WHAT?!?! Are they not aware that a passport is basically the most valid form of ID?! I mean, you have to go through a background check to get one, for Pete's sake!Mr A's...Denver's Most Ignorant/Uneducated Lounge.

Mr. A's like the Apollo without talent, with that being said I enjoyed myself. Music gets you hyped and is just greasy enough to make you feel like you were back in 98 probably hanging with DMX in a Hoboken basement. Drinks were sweet, Get the shots. Parking like a free for all, like a closeout sale at Big Lots in West Palm beach but it was cool. Id go again.

Bartender's pour great drinks and the music is good and patio furniture is comfortable and great if you have to smoke and still enjoy your drink.

Great place to hang out and have a drink. Nothing fancy, yet inviting no matter what nationality and sexual gender. Want a stiff drink, good R& B , then this is the spot. Sometimes you can find good food from the food trucks outside or from someone throwing a party that day. Very rarely will you find disturbances and if so they are put to rest quickly! Been in business longer than any other African American club in the whole city and still going strong! My spot for over 40 years!

Bartenders were great and personable. Drinks overpriced but still good they know how to make the drink I wanted. Music sucks. Can we please have music from this decade or even year.
