Mountain Toad Brewing

Stopped here coming down out of the Rockies and back to Denver for the night. It's in a seemingly charming neighborhood and was easy to find from the freeway. The bartenders were very friendly and chatty. We talked about their beer selection and I sampled enough that my husband drove the rest of the way into Denver. The space is pleasant and seemed to be a good size. It wasn't particularly busy when we stopped in on a Saturday night, but the folks that were there were chatty and friendly to the out-of-towners.I look forward to going back when we're in the area and we got a t-shirt!

Love this brewery. It's hidden gem. Good brews great service and a variety of bar food choices. We were starving and this was our first visit. Great atmosphere.

cute brewery in a nice walkable area. they have board games!!!!! they have good pours!!!! they have good non-alcoholic drinks!!!! they have a nice patio and on sunday i experienced a good food truck.i would go again.

We were on a Bachelorette party and stopped in here on our way down from the mountain. It's really cool.Great spot, clean on the inside, great atmosphere.And the beers were fantastic. Some really cool unique ones.That's all you need to know.

Came in late on a Tuesday afternoon. Maybe 20-25 people here. Service excellent including a couple of tasters to dial in on right beer. We selected the Lotus IPA and Blueberry Kolsch. Great, low key vibe, like the outdoor patio and pizza food truck. Solid experience.

Neat little place. We loved that they had a food truck! The outside patio is really enjoyable here. The staff are very friendly! Oh and the beer is great too! It's busy for a reason!

I have spent a lot of Golden but only recently visited Mountain Toad, after which I was sure disappointed that I had never visited before! Right on Washington Ave in Downtown Golden, it's a cute little building with a few parking spots in front and plenty of street parking nearby. The bartender was super nice, and gave us some samples before deciding on what we wanted. I loved the variety of beer options, and really enjoyed the Blueberry Kölsch that I ordered. My boyfriend really enjoyed his beer as well. There's plenty of seating inside, and a nice patio outdoors. On a weeknight, it was quiet enough inside that it looked like some were studying or working. This is a great spot to go with a group to hang out. From the fliers inside, it looked like they have lots of trivia and other events going on - all of which I would join if I lived closer or was in the area again during one! You should definitely check this place out if in Golden.

Spacious cool brewery in Golden with a very nice patio area. There is always a food truck out back as well. They don't have any other drink options besides one kombucha flavor. Very dog friendly and shaded areas. Good service as well.

We stopped in here on a Friday afternoon on the way to the mountains. The taproom wasn't super busy and we got our pints quickly. I got an orange gose that was good and we also got several tasters to try. My favorite was the Winter Palace, a bourbon barrel stout which checks in at 11% ABV. I also really liked the Totally Hazed NEIPA. The servers were friendly and the playlist was lit with artists such as Portishead and Radiohead. I'll definitely stop by here again.
