It isn't often that I leave a negative review of a ramen restaurant but here we go.The positives. There was plentiful parking and the service was quick. We got our appetizers and entrees pretty quick. The miso soup and karage was good. Also the sitting area was comfortable and inviting.Negatives. So expensive and it felt like I was dealing with a video game, because of all of the micro purchases. $17 for just the ramen broth and meat choice, everything else costs extra. Want bok choy, corn, bamboo shoots, spinach, or nori? All of it costs extra $$ each item... My ramen came out to be $27. The sliced roast was tough and inedible. The boiled egg was cold and tasteless. My wife has the yakisoba. It looked like it has flavor but she said she will re-cook it when she gets home. Bland. I did ask for beer or a drink menu. I looked at the board posted and they had a grand selection of 3 types of beer.Needless to say, I won't be coming back. Too expensive for the low quality. I recommend skipping it.

I can't quite remember my dining experience at Miyako Ramen, which means I might have to come back. All I know is I went with my friend, and we both got a lunch special. They were VERY understaffed here, so it took awhile to place our order and get our food. I got the Spicy Miso Pork Ramen and Spicy Tuna Roll. Not very aesthetically pleasing and not bad for $19 but it's so highly rated on Yelp, I need to try again next time I visit this part of Denver. Remember to park in the SECOND lot as you drive by.

Hadn't been in awhile. The new menu is bad. $17.70 for noodles and broth and then select your upcharges. If you want toppings it's $3.60 just to add an egg! More if you want nori or a fish cake. Insane. This used to be a nice reasonable local neighborhood spot but now too pricey. Service was slow. If I'm paying over $20 for a bowl of ramen I expect more. Ramen tasted ok. Love to support local spots but just not worth the price I'm sad to say.

I feel bad that my favorite dish isn't properly Japanese. The Mabo Tofu is actually Chinese comfort-food and it's easy to spot being the only thing on the menu with three peppers. It is almost like a gravy or an étouffée but it is so flavorful, with an earthy vibe and the almost-too-hot level of heat that I love. Your tongue is surfing that fine line between wanting to stop but knowing that whatever you do you cannot stop because then it will hurt more. A lovely, visceral and tasty experience.

One of the best ramen shops in Denver. The chashu and their egg is amazing - Haven't had better. Small restaurant with a big heart. Come for the ramen and stay for the sushi.

Tucked away in a unassuming strip mall, this delicious ramen spot does not disappoint! We visited for mid week lunch and service was friendly and fast. I enjoyed that you are able to order a custom ramen bowl - you pick your protein, broth, flavor, spice level, noodle type, and any add ons (don't miss the soy soft boiled egg!). The portion was huge, and the protein portion particularly was high quality meat and hearty. I left with leftovers for a second lunch! My husband got the lunch special (small ramen and 1/2 sushi roll). Thanks for the delicious meal!

We decided to try something new tonight. We were impressed with Miyako Ra-men Spot. We both ate the ramen. The ramen had good flavor. I thought the broth was too spicy for me even though I ordered it spicy. Next time we go I will not order spicy broth. I looking forward to trying it not spicy next time.

Ramen was too salty. Normally I like to finish the broth if the broth is average or better. I ordered the tonkatsu shoyu ramen and the broth was incredibly salty. Normally I see tonkatsu ramen or shoyu ramen. At this place, options were tonkatsu shoyu and didn't have just tonkatsu or just shoyu. You can tell just from the color of the broth that it was going to be very salty. That dark color from too much soy sauce. So I ate everything and avoided the broth as much as possible. Ended up downing 2 cups of water though because the noodle was sitting in the salty broth and inevitably salted my mouth. The flavors (aside from obvious salt) was actually really good. Wasn't my favorite noodle preparation, but got the job done and was better than instant noodles. The pork seemed to be high quality, but overcooked. The egg was ice cold! I normally like contrast of hot and cold, but this was just odd.Service was nice. Friendly staff and filled my water whenever it needed filling, which is very important when food is too salty. They serve other things, but if ramen is in their name and the broth isn't right, then my curiosity for anything else here is immediately killed. Inside looked clean and open kitchen looked clean too. Service and decor is deserving of that 2nd star.
