Had dinner at Miya Moon tonight and had an amazing experience. We had a party of 6 with 2 kids and were seated in a private room which was super helpful since the kids can be slightly rowdy at times. The rooms would be great for parties! The rooms were beautifully decorated. We ordered a good amount of food and every dish was spot on; meticulously prepared; flavors were bright, and textures were superb. We ordered the sautéed string beans, eggplant with garlic sauce, dry sautéed spicy cauliflower, salt and pepper asparagus, Mala steak fries, stir fried udon, mapo tofu and wagyu beef fried rice. Our favorites were the salt and pepper asparagus, mala steak fries and wagyu beef fried rice! Will be back for sure!

potential. this place has really good potential but did miss on some parts. let's start with the bad. we made reservations via OpenTable at 6pm for a post Valentines Day dinner (great place to take a date btw, don't get me wrong). we arrived a few minutes early, but had to wait about 10-15mins before we sat at our table. there were empty and prepared tables, but still had to wait for them to "prepare more tables"? not sure what's the point of making a reservation days/weeks prior to have a walk in take a table without a reservation - defeats the point of reserving if it's first come, first served. main dishes can be better. flavor just wasn't there for some of them. the crab fried rice was somewhat spicy for some reason? I was fine with it, but at least indicate that the dish would be spicy for others. lo mein was good, but you can definitely get the same and/or better at a fast food Chinese restaurant. nothing memorable tbh, it was just food that filled your stomach. now for the good. ambiance was great. it's a good place for dates and gatherings, but be wary that the area is smaller than other restaurants and can get quite loud if you have larger groups. there's an open bar with decent alcohol selections.the one thing you should definitely get are the tapas. those are all the shareables/appetizers that give you a great variety. honey spare ribs are amazing, and i enjoyed the chicken lettuce wrap. flavor was *chef's kiss * honestly, I would mainly go there and just eat a bunch of tapas. overall, good place to dine and the atmosphere is great. definitely a lot of potential. theres just some areas that need better quality for the overall value.

We made a reservation for 2 at 6pm a week ago since this was gonna be our slightly late valentine dinner. We got there a little bit before 6pm and it took a while for someone to even come up to the front to say anything. There were 5 tables open with plates and silverware ready and yet they kept telling us they're getting a table ready. I was a little annoyed at this considering they sat someone who walked in before they sat us almost 15 mins after our reservation time. What's the point of having reservations when it's not even honored in the first place? I am a little bitter about losing out on the opportunity of a booth because of this. Our server seemed a little flustered but he was trying his best. We ordered (with our ratings) the mango lemonade $6 (8/10) and Jin shui $11 (5/10) for drinks and ordered the chicken lettuce cups $12 (8/10), honey spare ribs $12 (8/10), black pepper filet $20 (6/10), crab fried rice and curry $25 (6/10), and veggie lomein $14 + combo meat $6 (7/10)The honey spare ribs had great flavor and would be rated higher if they were a little more tender. Definitely need some wet wipes for this dish since the sauce can drip! The chicken lettuce cups had great flavor and for someone who usually picks out herbs for being too herby (yes, I know it's weird), I ate these up cause it was cooked in well. Lettuce could've been a little more fresh since it wasn't crisp. The lomein was my favorite entree if I had to pick one. The only thing I have a complaint about is that it's kind of a small portion for $20 when I can get a bigger size for less and it's just as good from a fast food Chinese restaurant. The beef pepper filet was kind of disappointing cause there wasn't much flavor??? I could feel the black pepper and feel the heat but there didn't seem to be any flavor really. No savory umami with a hint of sweetness that would've made this dish amazing. The same can be said for the crab fried rice. I was confused while eating it (without curry by the way since I don't like coconut) because there was heat but it overpowered the flavor and I didn't know what I was tasting. Overall the tapas were definitely my favorite. This place has a lot of potential and I do plan on coming back to try other dishes. I think they have some kinks to work out in both the front and the back but the restaurant itself is nice. It's quiet and spacious and the lighting works well with what they have. I didn't like having a light directly above me and yes I am still bitter about the booth even while I'm typing this review 2 hours after dinner. The reusable containers are great but hard to close and I absolutely love the bags!! I'm glad there's some restaurants being conscious about things like this. Overall this restaurant is a 7/10 and I would highly recommend the tapas here!

A great new spot in Lone Tree - one of the nicer restaurants in the area. We tried the Mongolian beef and basil chicken, both bursting with flavor. The mango sago bowl was a perfect way to end the meal. Service was quick and efficient. The only downside was the waitlist system; I wish they allowed guests to join via OpenTable instead of requiring in-person sign-ups.

We arrived shortly after they opened. The restaurant was dim, a bit colder than anticipated but seemed to be set up nice for those busy times - good dividers between the booths. We tried a few appetizers - Egg Drop Soup, Pork Belly Buns, Salt and Pepper Asparagus, Chili Wontons, and Homemade Pork Potstickers. The Egg Drop Soup was hot and tasty, it hit the spot on a cold day. The Pork Belly Buns had a nice surprise - I am not sharing, you can try them. The Salt and Pepper Asparagus were a welcome change instead of French Fries. The Homemade Pork Potstickers had a nice sear, adding even more flavor. The Chili Wontons hit the spot - not too much heat but enough to make you glad you ordered them.

Miya Moon had some struggles on our Sunday evening dinner. We had a reservation and were quickly seated in a pleasant dining room. Unfortunately, they had a single waiter serving their entire restaurant. While he was very friendly and helpful, he was dreadfully over-worked and this slowed the dining experience dramatically. When food came out, it was very good yet we all felt that a few flavors were missing. The crab Rangoon was good yet quite small. We very much enjoyed the Brussels Sprouts and eggplant tapas - these had the best flavor of all we ate! The walnut shrimp appetizer was not great - had an off flavor almost like rancid oil, and an odd sauce atop the shrimp - would not order again. Our entrees included Orange Chicken which was nice, the Crab Fried Rice with Curry - it was also tasty although the coconut curry alongside was too sweet for our taste. Our 3rd entree was a steak entree with noodles and vegetables - excellent concept yet lacking depth of flavor and umami. Would like to have a bit more savory flavors with the steak and it could be great! Ambiance is very nice and modern - you'll never know you enter through a strip mall! May or may not return, yet a good meal, just quite hampered by poor service.

10/10 recommend this place! I love a good tapas place and I've found our new fun spot. We tried the Spicy Edamame, Crispy Cauliflower with Mala sauce, and chili wontons. Each dish was good, even our toddler ate everything! We got the orange chicken entree to share and it was the perfect amount of food for 2 adults and a 2 year old. The restaurant has such a great ambiance and atmosphere, and the service was impeccable (Javier was our waiter and he was great!) Will definitely be coming back to try other dishes!

Rarely try a new place and come away with no critiques. Everything was amazing, albeit not super traditional, but not for the worse. Drinks were tasty, our bartender Leia was kind and attentive, and all of the food was distinctly homemade--in the best way! We tried:- pork potstickers- chili wontons- hot and sour soup- string beans- mala steak fries- sesame chicken - mango sago100% will be back -- so delicious!

So glad I decided to try this place out, it is truly a gem! Ordered the pot stickers and honey walnut canapés to start, and both were delicious. Then my wife and shared the black pepper steak clay pot, and it was just as fantastic as the tapas. Service was friendly and attentive, the playlist was fire, and the interior is a vibe. Will definitely be returning for dinner to try out some cocktails! Highly recommend this spot for lunch or date night.
