Super nice place for a quick lunch! Their food is good. Fresh and well presented. Two things I'd love to see here to come back more often and certainly would attract more business. More creative veggie rolls! It's not that hard. Just use whats in house.I can share a few suggestions: The AAC roll. Make that, and also a more fun option by adding Spice Mayo and chopped mushrooms you use for the ramen. What about a cucumber, jalapeño, avocado and cilantro with sesame ponzu sauce?! Seaweed salad inside the roll with carrots, and lettuce. There are so many things that can be more creative... Another thing is the wasabi. I wish it was stronger. The price is super fair, specially for lunch. I never came for din

I just moved here 5 months ago and have tried multiple sushi restaurants and have not been impressed, although this restaurant has been the best sushi restaurant I've had so far. The fish is so fresh here and the flavors were all so great. The service was great. And the ambiance is super cute and lively. All great things to say about this restaurant. 5 stars well deserved.

I recently withdrew my negative review of this restaurant. I returned almost a year later to give it another try, and boy am I glad I did. My bad experience was due to an employee that was rude and unwelcoming. The owner reached out to me personally and acknowledged my bad experience, they said they understood my complaint and would make the necessary changes. At my recent visit I experienced a complete 180. The staff is friendly, helpful, and they gave good recommendations. The sushi is fresh and delicious. The decor is colorful and fun. I am happy to say this is now my FAVORITE sushi spot. Thank you to the owner, and thank you to the staff!

Love their spicy tuna mixture in a hand roll. Tried a new roll called Vegas Deep Fire Roll and enjoyed it. The Kani salad had a little too much panko crunch but still delicious. We did a pickup at restaurant, they did forget one roll but waiter was quick to fix issue. Food was delicious, Mika Sushi is our go to sushi restaurant.

Came here on a whim to kill time before watching a movie. Got here around 500 and there was maybe 3 other tables occupied. Got seated immediately which was definitely to our liking. They didn't have any Uni that day which always gets me disappointed. They did however have Fatty Tuna, which isn't as good as uni, but it is a nice alternative. Our server was nice but wasn't very attentive. She seemed new so that could be the reason why. What we ordered was the Beef Negimaki ( scallion wrapped in beef), Evil Angel roll (shrimp tempura, jalapeños, cream cheese, crab meat, and eel sauce).sashimi deluxe dinner, fatty tuna, and Mika fried rice ( shrimp, chicken, veggies, crab meat). The beef enigmatic was way overcooked. The beef was dry, and hard to chew. Definitely was overcooked. The evil angel roll was good. It was well balanced with flavor and texture was good. The fatty tuna was okay but it didn't seem very fresh. The sashimi plate also didn't seem very fresh. And the presentation was lacking. The fried rice was also okay, but was bland. Overall, we weren't impressed with the food. The price on the dishes was average, but the food was below average. With so many sushi places in the Denver area, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Nothing really stood out from Mika.

MaikSushi Denver is NOT a good place to eat.They must think that their sushi is as GREAT as Sushi Denfrom the prices that they charge.I could of gotten BETTER sushi from King Soopers or Safeway.The service is slow and the waitstaff are always on their phones.I will NOT go there again.
