Mici Italian

I found this place because the card reader at the frozen yogurt shop Nextdoor was down. There was a sign that said "gelato" and I gave it a shot. I'm so happy I did! The gelato is soooo delicious, especially the chocolate chip flavor. Then one day I was actually hungry so I tried the pesto pasta...my life was changed and now this spot is on my top restaurants. It's really really difficult to find good, tasty food in Colorado that isn't overly priced. But Mici is yummy, filling, and affordable. Love this place!

Beware of ordering through yelp. $14 service fee added to our order AFTER I approved payment. Expensive mistake for pizza. Is the pizza good? Yes. Consistently? Yes. Thin, crispy and chewy crust. The base red sauce is a classic. The pizzas all have a thin film of grease, however, teens tells me that's the best part. Delivery by yelp however had that obnoxious fee tacked on in addition to tax, another fee, and tip which was generous not knowing there was this hidden additional fee I assume does not benefit the driver nor kitchen staff.

I had heard about this place, we were having an appointment next door, so we stopped by for lunch. In the past and from the reviews and the menu, I had expected a slightly more upscale seating area. But no fear, it may be fast casual but the food is very good as is the service. It seems they do a lot of takeout so there are some orders ahead of you that might not be apparent, but the line was short and it moved quickly. The staff so friendly, delivers to the table, will bring your desserts, prepaid with initial order, to the table when you step to the counter to tell them you are ready. They do clean the tables themselves and bring you boxes for leftovers to take home. Because the portions are so ample for the prices, you probably will have leftovers. We did.We each had a salad, my husband had the Mista, I had the Casa. We both enjoyed them and the dressing was very high quality. He had the gelato and I had the cannoli for dessert. We both were pleased with our choices. I have had many cannoli in my life, in the east, both in Boston and NY area, as well as in CA in the Bay area, and this was comparable quality to many bigger names but at lower price. I would love to try the pastas, but that will need to be for dinner. In warm weather it appears they can accommodate a much larger crowd with the outdoor seating, with some very large tables for large parties. We will need to try that sometime too when we have guests. It is a bit of a drive from Boulder but traffic is often light going in that direction from Boulder and probably no longer time than crossing Boulder itself, heading north from our house.

Our previous dinner plans fell through, so we found this place and were pleasantly surprised! I've never been to an Italian restaurant where you order at the counter but it was nice and relaxed. We ordered a caprese salad, a pizza, and two pasta dishes. All of which were yummy! And we also got gelato which was delicious! The service was a little lacking- it seemed like there were a few new people getting trained but everything was still good. I would definitely come back to try other menu items.

Tried Mici for the first time tonight. It wasn't spectacular, but it was good. You order yourself at the front and then they bring the food to your table. I saw they also offer full menu delivery as well. The food was really good (just not incredible). I'm not sure if we just went right during the dinner rush or not, but there was a small line and it seemed to take awhile to be helped. I really want to go back and try the gelato...it looked delicious and they had some unique flavors!! Definitely worth the visit. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Food was good. Nothing negative other than a little bit of a wait to order (which should be expected around dinner time on a Friday). Will for sure be visiting again!

I really liked this place. Salad was great and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed our personal sized pizzas. Definitely will be returning.

Covid-19 curbside pickupI can't believe I'd never been to Mici Italian, but luckily they offer convenient curbside pickup during these difficult times. My friends had told me how they liked this place and, after ordering for dinner recently, I totally agree. That day was rainy and chilly, so the hearty white bean soup with spinach, chicken broth, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and garlic bread was perfect!Make sure you order their cookies, so yummy! I may have to go back just to get a bunch more.The selection on the takeout menu is quite wide and the prices reasonable, wine and beer are also available.The staff is friendly and if you call them they'll bring the order directly to your car (or you can choose to go inside). If you don't feel like cooking or just want to support a local business, seems like a good one to me!

Ordered food online and they gave our food away. They said they would remake it in 15 minutes, so we left to run a small errand and when we came back they gave our food away again. The food could be good but Mici's made sure I'll never know.

The calzones here are A-Plus! Big supporter of Mici Italian. Take all my money, please.

Best fast/casual Italian food! The food is SO flavorful! Everything from the bread, to crust, to pizza, to lasagna, to Ice tea has flavor! Not overpowering but not underwhelming, an absolute perfect balance! I can not rave enough about the lasagna. Cooked to perfection. The service was given with kindness, and a smile! Such a kind and friendly welcome from start to finish. First time coming and definitely turned into a new favorite place to frequent!
