Mcginty's Wood Oven Pub

Colorado Springs native here who recently (2 years ago) made the wonderful move to Woodland Park. It's been a life-changing decision, except for the food. With just a handful of exceptions, all the restaurants up here above the clouds are horrible. McGinty's is one of those exceptions!!My brother told me about how great their pizza was, but no one was in the mood for pizzas, so we had some burgers, pretzels, and salads instead. We got the food to go and ate at home so I can't really speak to the ambiance, but the service was friendly and the food was excellent. Three of the four of us thought it was hands-down the best food we have had in two years. Crisp flavorful salads with a fruity vinaigrette, juicy burgers with seasoning and flavors and texture, and a wonderful soft pretzel with a hearty beer and cheese sauce. Great job McGinty's! We will be back to try that pizza. And if you want your website fixed, look us up, we can do that for you.

Great place to stop to get a half-and-half, an amazing pretzel!!! Service is really great and the ambience was on point for an Irish pub

We got awesome Reubens along with the cheese soup. The flavor of the soup was strong, it was great. They had a few beers on tap that I tried. The Reuben was really good, loaded with meat, and filled me up quickly after a moderate hike. The staff was very attentive and the bartender working on her pilot license was great to chatt with.

Fun Irish pub in Divide, CO! We stopped here for a quick beer during our Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed it. The service was slower but that was expected on a holiday weekend in a small mountain town. We didn't try any food but they had typical pub food and a wide selection of beers.The server was very friendly and I would recommend this spot for a beer or hearty meal!

Wow!! It was our first stop before getting to our cabin and the food was AMAZING! Drinks and food was served fast and the small home town feels was great! The service was friendly and wonderful. Definitely recommend visiting this spot! We had adult drinks, Irish old fashion and a McGintys Tea . For dinner I had their Hen salad and hubby the Ruben with clam chowder! Perfectly made

Have been here a couple times now while staying the area. An Irish pub with a nice selection of local beers as well as the usual Irish selection of Guinness and the various half and half and black and tan combos. The food is excellent! The fish and chips with a cup of chowder was very tasty. The BERNADETTE DEVLIN pizza was also very good. We found the service to be prompt, accurate and professional. Also to their credit I left my hat there the first time and they kept it safe for me for a few days.We plan to stop here anytime we are in the area.

Clearly a local favorite. Pub feel. Service was good. Food: Wings were average. You have a great pizza oven, but it tastes like a Pizza Hut pizza. Disappointed

Excited for the Superbowl called around our area for best wings and settled on McGintys. 3 lbs ordered so we were told 8 to 10 wings per order. Turns out we received 20 wings total. That's $2.60 per wing! Called to complain and got no satisfaction from them so that's it for McGintys!UPDATE: After eating my 10 wings I will have to admit they were very meaty! I know they weigh the wings to determine the amount so I remind my complaint. Love their beer too.

Decent food for the area. Nothing to "write home about" but it's decent. Service is ok when we go. Pizza would be my suggestion.

Food is okay at best. Sometimes burnt to a crisp. A pound of wings may be if multiplied by 2. Service is slow and full of empty excuses 3/3 times. Sit at the bar and sit with an empty drink with an absentee bartender. Must be a money laundering joint since the owner never wishes to make money. After three visits the future patrons need the review.Probably Ready for Bar Rescue.
