We finally found good Chinese food in Boulder. Don't be fooled by the sign that offers many cuisines, the Chinese dishes are great - wonton soup, sesame chicken, Singapore noodles, we haven't gotten anything we haven't enjoyed. Also the service is so great, lovely people. Really nice atmosphere, clean and nice inside.

I really wanted to like this place after reading the reviews but it just wasn't very good for the 3 of us. Nothing was close to being authentic and the taste profiles were really lacking. I had the spareribs which while flavored well, they were so tough that I couldn't bite it or saw through it to eat much of it.The mooshu pork was off for us, the pancakes were cold and the mooshu was lackluster. The orange chicken was just hunks of deep fried dried out chicken and while we tried to eat it, I just couldn't get through my first bite. Too tough. The wonton soup was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. Broth was flavorless and the wontons tasted frozen to me. Colorado is catching up on other Asian dishes like Thai and Vietnamese and fallling down on authentic Chinese cuisines. We were disappointed but glad to check this one off the list as we make our way through all the restaurants that peak our interests on Yelp and elsewhere.

We have been in Boulder 12 years, tried every Chinese restaurant, and May Wah is absolutely the best! Megan, the owner, really cares for this restaurant. She keeps it so clean. The servers have been there for years and I love every one of them. The menu haas so many options for Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai. My kids regularly request the pho or the Wonton soup, and both have light flavorful broth. The kids also love chicken on a skewer, pork pan fried dumplings, and edamame (we get these three things about once a week). I personally am head over heels for the lemon chicken which is hot, crispy and made with real lemon (not the bottled lemon juice like they use at other Chinese restaurants). I also love the Kung Pao Chicken, and BBQ Pork Pan Fried Noodle. I also order from here whenever we get a babysitter, and their delivery is fast and on time.

My husband and I have been going here for over 15 years and it is hands down the best Vietnamese food in Boulder! The food is always fresh, consistent, the staff is so friendly and the owner personally knows her customers. I order the Vietnamese grilled beef with rice paper and it's incredible (kind of like make your own spring rolls) and there is no better sesame chicken in Colorado. I have had 100's of meals here and I have nothing but positive things to say about this family run establishment! Don't miss out!

This restaurant is just a place I would go in a pinch. I really have nothing that spectacular to report except it was hot. I got a vegetable pho and the lady informed me I had to pay five dollars to add tofu so I ended up with an $18 bowl of soup. My friend had 1 ton soup and it was doable. But I certainly won't be craving May Wah restaurant when I come back this way.

The family that owns this place are amazing. They are committed and work harder than anyone in the industry. I enjoy the food, and they will take special requests when preparing your food that makes me happy.I wish they would simplify their menu - as they try to please so many customers with more than 100 offerings. While I've only tried a few items, I have found the "zone" of what they do well, and I stick to these items. Their Dunplings are 100% legit - order them every time! Please give this place a shot. They've been around a long time and deserve our support. There are some gems here - you just need to find them on an extensive menu.

May Wah has been taking good care of me from my undergrad days ages ago to now. Their food is always delicious and the quality ingredients shine. I'm not sure I could count how many noodle bowls I've enjoyed from them over the years. They have great service whether you dine in, or order delivery from them.

We have been regulars at May Wah for many years. This is seriously good food made by seriously nice people. When our Christmas Eve dinner roast was eaten by our dogs (true story) we hurriedly called May Wah. I caught them right before closing, on Christmas Eve, and they saved the day. Five stars isn't enough for this delicious restaurant!
