Love the guys that work here they're very nice and about business. The sandwiches are really simple but delicious. Nice east coast bodega vibe in there. If you want a cheaper sandwich that is fresh cut deli meat this is your spot

A very nondescript spot, definitely hole in the wall. I had a gyro over a bed of lettuce and spinach, they were very willing to make a crazy request happen. All fairly priced items and sweet, welcoming staff. If you are ever up this way, worth a stop!

I am not a sandwich person. I would rather have a hot, saucy or soupy noodles with a side of dough... but seeing that they've been around for decades.. it's gotta be better than your typical chain right? Ding-Ding-Ding! This place is as close we are to a bodega in Denver. Sandwich was carefully crafted and the placement of all the ingredients were done with care. Sauce in every bite? You got it. I had the club sandwich on marbled rye, the bae had the rambo... and both were super delicious... not a lot of sandwich places have pastrami in a sandwich shop (usually I see those in sit down restaurants).. so it was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely come here again, and I love mine toasted!

Delicious chicken sandwich and gyros! Be still, my precious heart and stomach. Us Yelpers get so excited when talking about tasty foods. The deli is located inside the ConocoPhillips gas station. Say what!? I know, surprised me too. The smell of food coming from the deli is intoxicating. It lured me in like those cartoons with the pie at the window seal. Except there is no pie in this situation but a mighty tasty sandwich. The aroma made me even more hungry waiting for my sandwich. The Rambo is the most popular sandwich here but I was craving chicken. They have a huge slicer they use for cutting meats like pastrami, roast beef, turkey and so on. Soups, salads, sandwiches, gyros, a little something for everyone. I got the chicken sandwich with my choice of toppings and cheese. Toasted. It's paired perfectly with herbs and oil sauce (I am not exactly sure if that is the name, but I'm sticking with it). The deli is inside a mini grocery store/gas station/check cashing. They have all kinds of things for sale here, pipes, sunglasses, marijuana imprinted socks, candy, clothing, etc. Everyone was extremely friendly and super helpful. Plenty of parking spots outside. My friend got the gyros and licked his plate clean. I kid you not. Actually, it was not a plate, it was a foam container. Nevertheless, licked clean.

I just witnessed the craziest thing, I was waiting in line and the person in front of me was yelling at the cashier because the chip on her card was not working and she was late for work. The customer was yelling and saying it was ridiculous, when clearly she was the issue. The cashier kept her cool and told the customer to wake up earlier so she is not late for work. That made me laugh so much because the customer was outraged. She said, "Why are you talking back to me? I will not come back here." At this point the cashier said, "Thank you. Please don't come back." The customer was shocked and started using profanity. At that point the cashier told the customer to leave. The customer refused to leave and was trying to argue about her card and then the cashier said, "Your chip does not work neither does the swipe, get a new card, it is free." The customer was yelling and acting crazy, mind you the customer was an older lady. The cashier was probably half her age, but acting way more mature. Since the customer was not leaving, the cashier said, "Hey aren't you late for work, you better get going." Then the customer flipped her off and finally left. The cashier smiled and said, "Don't mind her, she got up on the wrong side of the bed today." Not only was the cashier nice, she was hilarious. I laughed again, a moment later I used my card and it worked. Clearly it was the customer's fault. That is what I love about this place. They do not take any crap from anyone. Especially not rude customers, but I got sidetracked because of the crazy customer. They provide friendly service every time I have gone in here and I love the deli. I repeat I loveeeeeeeee this deli, I have been going here for years. The chicken salad is delicious, it is made fresh when you order. Another treat is the gyro and Rambo. Very delicious. Keep up the good work and take take any crap from mannerless customers.

Normal line at lunch, I will tell you the longer the better the food is. Food is bomb, egg salad toasted was fire and the prices are great. It's near my job so this is my new healthier go to. Thanks for the good food fellas

Oh man. Where do I even start. I work in Globeville and am so sick of Wendy's and other fast-food restaurants in this horrible industrial neighborhood where employees have to sit through traffic to sighingly order a smoky double bacon cheeseburger to satisfy their hunger pains and not break the bank. The healthier Etai's charges $9 for a small salad, and I was about to give up on eating out on my lunch break until I stumbled upon this gem in the rough. Mapleton Grocery & Deli offers delicious mouth-watering sandwiches, gyros and more and the proportions are BEAUTIFUL for the price. They are as quick as McDonald's in the morning with the same beautiful presentation that you'd find at a well-established neighborhood eatery. If you are second-guessing this place, just stop right there. I mean $6 for a deli meat packed sandwich is as good as it's gonna get.

I love this place, everything I've had is tasty. All the folks are super cool too.
