Manning’s Steaks And Spirits

Widely anticipated by many of us "Mannings 1" Fans, I finally had a chance to stop in with my Girlfriend Friday night.....Things are much better than what others had reported during the initial openings of MII. We bellied up and just planned on getting a few drinks to scope out the scene...The Bartender that waited on us misgauged my girls' drink by serving a tall, when she asked for a short Gin and Tonic, but everything else was great....and the Wedge salad I ordered was great as well. The atmosphere was great....they really did a great job on that...I anticipate that they will do good business at their new location, and look forward to my next review- worthy visit!

Family suggested this spot that used to be Marie' Calendars but now it's Mannings restaurant for the last 6 MosStopped In to try it out. Came during lunch hour with a nice selection of items and ordered the calamari and it was good but the sauce was a sweet and sour spicy so be ready was still good. We also had a wedge salad and the beef skewers along with crab legs Skewer was a little chewy but good Service attentive which is always good when it's slow. All in all nice place to eat would return Still new and need to work out the kinks of restaurant life

Where do I start...taking my son for a birthday dinner with his new girlfriend.So I normally would bitch and complain when food or service goes south...but couldn't do this tonight...2/5/25To start Im throughly discussed with the food we received.Appetizers Spinach dip...okBrussels sprouts...not seasoned.Dinner not worth it... both steaks not prepared properly not seasoned and temperature wrong...next seeing my steak maybe 14oz...not the 18oz it should have been.Sides disappointmenting not seasoned.Paying 110 for two steak...of which 80 was my ribeye...means that it should come out perfect...this sucksOnly two good things...Service/waiter was prompt and charming Deserts cookies was the only thing I'd recommend for food.For me this is my firat/last at Manning...as I requested a call back from manager...never received one. They don't deserve my business ever again.

We went based on the Yelp reviews of Manning's and we were very disappointed. The kitchen was way backed up and our waiter kept apologizing for the long wait. We are very patient and realized it was not the service fault. We waited 30-40 min just for our appetizer. Over an hour for dinner. We were sitting near the kitchen and could see the wait staff waiting for their orders to come out. The kitchen is too small to handle the size of the dining room and bar area or they were short on kitchen staff. We were hoping our patience would pay off with delicious food but that was disappointing too. My steak sandwich that sounded delicious on the menu was lukewarm at best and the béchamel sauce was cold. The only good thing were the fries that were hot, I couldn't eat the rest. Most places only get one chance for return customers and our group of 4 will not return based on our experience.

Went in for lunch as I'd been anxiously awaiting their opening. The place was cleaned up nicely! Great atmosphere and friendly service. I had the steak bechemel sandwich which was wonderful.I did overhear the server talking about their growing pains recently. This seemingly is a much bigger restaurant than their other and accommodating larger seatings led to challenges. I'm confident that they will work that out & I'll be back!

The waitress was nice manager awesome! We ordered the skewers off the happy hour menu I personally did not like the sauce and it wasn't a good cut of meat. I ordered the calamari off the happy hour menu which was a super small portion but I always forget that they are a little greasy it came with a spicy sauce which was decent I ordered the half pound crab legs which were decent not great and I got the potatoes with the cheese but I had to trade those out for just a regular baked potato I did not like the flavoring on those potatoes however they were nice enough to trade them out for me they're lettuce wedge salad was amazing it was huge

Had a reservation for two, arrived a little early and was actually seated promptly but we ended up waiting 15 minutes with no drink order or even a greeting besides getting seated. Pretty disappointed, ended up going to the front to let them know and nothing was done about it. We ended up just going up to the bar and ordering there.Sitting at the bar we were greeted and asked for our drink order and then ordered food. Besides the first part of the experience the place was nice and had a good atmosphere. We were happy that we moved to the bar. The front of the house manager came up to us at the bar towards the end of our meal and said "we're still working on things, getting better" but that was it.

Excellent food, service and ambience! The old Marie calenders/boardroom/dirty pit cleaned up real nice....We enjoyed shrimp cocktail -warning the cocktail sauce is super hot Wedge salad was yummy, boneless ribeye was excellent (flemings/shannahans/Ruth chris/del frisco, watch out!)Gorganzola pasta steak was fantastic! I wish this was available as a side dish without the meat Peanut butter pie and lemon chiffon pie were fantastic. The lemon chiffon pie and chocolate creme Brule are made in house.Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

I had a really great dining experience here. First, our waitress was kind and attentive. The atmosphere inside was good, you can tell it is a brand new restaurant so everything is nice and clean. My steak was delicious. I got the filet- it was buttery and tender. And the manning potatoes are delicious! My husband got the salmon, and we split an order of fries. Everything was great! That's one of the best steaks I've had in a very long time!

I have been to many steakhouses as part of my work, and so when I found this restaurant I added to my schedule and thought little of it. To my great surprise Manning's turned out to be a hidden gem. The service was excellent and the food exceptional. During happy hour I ordered multiple drinks, two appetizers and two entree. When the bill came it was 95 dollars for two people with both of us loving each dish. I highly recommen this place for the service, atmosphere, service and food with Jenny and Ashley complementing each plate with a new beverage.
