Malone's Clubhouse Grill

Been here a few times, and I haven't reviewed them before. After thinking about past visits, I thought it would be a good idea to do one! There is a nice outdoor patio at the front, perfect for those nice summer days (that I'm already missing.) The staff is always friendly, efficient and haven't had a wait time more than 20 minutes on a busy night. Noise level is not bad at all, even on a busy night. Easy to hear each other. The menu is pretty big, which means many options for us, even the picky ones. My favorites here are the green chili, hot wings, hot Italian sub, the Reuben and the French dip. And of course, the pizza. My only reason for the absence of two stars is the price and overall satisfaction with the taste of the food. What finally set in tonight is the price doesn't match the quality of the food delivered. The food I've experienced isn't what I could call bad, but it hasn't reached the level of me craving their food either. The prices and deterring for me. Just under $13 for a half-dozen traditional buffalo wings is not on par with places I would say know how to do exceptional wings. I like that they serve good crispy-skinned wings and a good sauce, but I can go to another bar nearby and get more wings cooked as good, same sauce for less money. A half order of mini-corn dogs (5) was over $7, which surprised me as being high-priced. 4 of us for dinner, drinks, 3 adult meals, 1 kids meal, just under $100.With prices getting higher and higher, quantities and portions lower and smaller, I'm going to be more selective the next time we go out for dinner.

Malones is an easy and fun place to snag a happy hour in west Arvada. It is a traditional, more divey location that serves food. Their hot wings are pretty good and their Coors lights are always cold. Wait staff is kind and attentive- can't go wrong!

We have visited Malones several times in the past 90 days and have been generally satisfied. On our visit December 30, I ordered fish & chips. The fish was 2 very thin pieces that were terribly over done. They were hard with no fish between the breading. I was disappointed to say the least. My fellow diners commented on the bad quality of my fish and said I should have sent it back. Now I wish I had.

Sunday all you can eat Brunch Buffet. $19.99, Sundays only 9am-Noon. All nonalcoholic beverages are included. I stopped going here a while back because I feel the menu is too large thus the food is mediocre at best, which it is. I gave them another shot because I do like a buffet. I was very surprised as I thought it well above average for the price. The omelet station is excellent as it's the only option for eggs other than eggs benedict. I thought the food was high quality, hot, and a good selection of everything I like. I had several plates and walked away full thinking, what a hidden gem for a buffet that's only advertised if you go to their website. Either way, enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

First time visiting....I actually was not expecting a half-sports bar, half-sit-down restaurant but that's ok. Hostess had me sit at a booth in the bar. Greeted immediately by my server. Ordered an Old Fashioned. Not bad. I'm an Old Fashioned snob. So not bad is a decent statement. Had the Prime Rib sandwich. Also not too bad. Mac and cheese was pretty good. Kinda surprised actually! Mashed potatoes and white gravy was my least favorite part but not bad either. Food cane out quickly. Creme brulee cheesecake for dessert was good too. I have seen plenty of mixed reviews but decided to give it a go anyway. Was pleasantly surprised in general.

Recently went to watch the game on Sunday in the bar area and was completely blow away with the great service from Dakota. Not only was it the best experience I have ever had at Malones, but she also suggested the turkey rueben which is life changing! Will definitely be back!

Food was terrible. Staff is very friendly but probably overworked and completely under appreciated. Owner is a complete clown. Tried to reach out a couple of times in regards to an extremely poor meal that we had there a couple of weeks ago. Staff was great and went out of their way to try make it right but had their hands tied by the owner who refused to do anything about it and seemed to go out of her way to make the situation worse. Owner has refused to return a phone call for weeks and actually had the nerve to force our waitress (Who was not responsible at all for our drinks being wrong and all of our food being cooked terribly) to return a call instead of handling it herself like an adult because she is "tired of dealing with upset customers". Newsflash lady, that's what the owner of any decent establishment does. If you're not concerned enough to handle your own business like a big girl, sell it. Don't pawn your responsibilities as an owner off on your employees and put them in a terrible position because you're clueless and lazy. Your waitress should have quit on the spot and told you exactly where to stick it. The owner here couldn't care less about her customers or employees. Find any other place to spend your money.Any establishment that treats their long term employees and customers so poorly deserves to close. We live five minutes from this place in the neighborhood and will never return and have told everyone we know around here to never step foot in this dump. All of this nonsense over a $30 tab that should have been immediately refunded and would have been anywhere else, no questions asked. What a complete joke.

Great food for the price. I highly recommend the mexi-burger. It's the best one I've ever had.

My goal is to try everything on the menu at least once. Been coming here for years and I think I've only ordered about a third. Everyone needs goals in life. Join me in mine. Today I had the Teryaki Medallions. Simply delish!
