Mac N Noodles

We've stopped by this food truck a handful of times and enjoyed it, but were displeased by the service we received today. We were on our way home from the Parker Rec Center and noticed the food truck parked in the church parking lot (along with 4 other food trucks, clearly some type of event going on). We thought, eh, we don't have much planned for dinner so let's go and pulled into the parking lot (this was at 4:54 pm). We walked up to Mac n Noodles and one guy was just sitting in the window playing on his phone, and we saw another guy walking around in there. The guy told the guy in the window to tell us that they weren't serving until 5. See, if both people were busy and looked to be setting up, we would understand. But the fact that one guy was literally doing nothing and we were 6 minutes from when they said they'd open, it didn't leave a great impression. So we ended up leaving and taking our business elsewhere.Their menu was pretty boring today anyways - the last time we had it they had at least 4 options including 2 for non meat eaters. Today they had plain, buffalo chix, and another one with chorizo. Next time I'll support another local food truck instead and drive right on.

Blah this Mac n cheese is horrible. I was super excited to see a Mac n cheese truck was expecting the best Mac n cheese ever, sadly this wasn't even close. I got the pulledPork topped one and the noodles were weird the sauce was not cheesy more like a roux floury cheese sauce and pork was sad in color not sure it was smoked or just oven cooked and meant to be eaten with bbq sauce for a "smokehouse" feel. Ate two bites and in the trash.

I have been waiting years to try this food truck. I love Mac and cheese. I tried them at Pirates Cove today 9-12 for the Freedom Doggie Plunge. I ordered the regular Mac. I was very disappointed. The noodles are well done, not overly cooked or al-dente. The problem is with the sauce. There was none. The regular Mac on the menu says, cheddar, provolone, mozzarella, Parmesan and Romano. It really tasted like weak watered down butter noodles with some shredded cheese on top. No flavor at all or seasoning. If this is the standard quality of the food (this was my first time so nothing to compare to) then $11.00 is outrageously high. $6.00 max.Seriously more flavor in the box Mac n cheese

Posting bad reviews is not fun, but full transparency & honesty is important!! Hiring the Food Truck Avenue was a big mistake Most of us will agree what is legal isn't always right, just, or moral. As a war veteran turned marketing expert & experienced in restaurants I unfortunately have to do this with full transparency of my faults too.Worked my booty off hosting a Veteran 100% non-profit fundraiser w/o ANY proceeds of marketing going to me... Purely volunteered. Why mention this? Well, first time hosting an event like this, and I made the mistake of assuming integrity & common sense from the Food Truck Avenue by booking the Mac & Noodles truck.We booked an individual taco truck (they were great & everyone raved about the food & service!!! ) & the Burger Truck from "Food Truck Avenue" from 12-5pm.... Agreed to the $1000 minimum.... Last min they informed me that truck was booked, so I ok'd the Mac & Noodles truck, only they couldn't do 12-5, only 3-5 (less than half the approved time). That's where I screwed up! Being so busy finalizing the event I didn't verify/ensure the minimum should be dropped as it's less than half the requested time frame AND outside the lunch rush. Common sense right?After the event they sent me an invoice for over $850!!! Already paid $150 to reserve (which I thought was a deposit, again, my fault). I told them that is $850+ they would be taking away from the non-profit for only being there 2 of the 5 requested hrs and after the lunch rush. They (David) didn't care. No common sense, integrity or understanding. So I apologized for the miscommunication & offered them a chance at doing the right & honorable thing, saying I would be ok rounding way UP and accepting a $500 invoice.... As good reviews are super important. They took it as a threat . I replied with the truth "I don't make threats, only promises". Rather it not come to this, but wish I had been warned by someone before hiring them . So, here we are. I paid the full invoice as what may be legal isn't always right or moral. (Btw, they never supplied their P&L list for the 2 hrs, I can only assume it's correct on their word). David would rather have a big ego & take away from local veterans for 2 hrs of little work than do the right thing. Anybody with common sense knows that had he taken the honorable path as a human I would be leaving a glowing review that would result in FAR more business in the long run. Moral of the story, don't be a David!!! Can't wait to see his reply to this . And happy to send screen shots of our emails to anyone who requests it as needed.

Payton...Peyton...Payton....Yes I realize that is two different spellings, I just want to be sure to get it right one way or another! She is the dopest!The GOOD: The staff of one that arrived at my community to serve all of us hungry folks! Payton had some technical issues that she. had to work out and she was cool under pressure! She also made a yummy bowl of food! I am definitely a mac and cheese snob so I was impressed by the food. The Bad/Ugly: Nothing to report!! Track down this truck!

The Milan mac n cheese is ok, but it's small and it's not $11 good. It was a little dry. Maybe with a little more sauce, this would've been worth it. I'm willing to give it another shot though. Even the most "ok" mac n cheese is still mac n cheese, so it's still better than most other food! The pepper jack mac n cheese bites were more than just ok. They changed my life. Don't judge an appetizer by its photo. These are about to be your new favorite food. They've got just the right spiciness to them. I thought they'd have the texture of mozzarella sticks, but they're so much softer and gooier than mozzarella sticks on the inside. The inside is almost more like queso. It's just the most perfect comfort food. Try it now and thank me later!

They came to our neighborhood for Food Truck Fridays. It has a great flavor. It also has a little kick for those of you who don't handle spice well

Very mediocre. I was so bummed, our neighborhood is bring in food trucks this summer and Mac N Noodles was the first. What a disappointmentI got the cheeseburger Mac and the was no chorizo no pickles, as promised. $10.00My wife got the Buffalo Chicken which was very bland and was supposed to be topped with Gorgonzola and green onions. If you count one crumble and a couple onion pieces that may count. $10.00And the jalapeño poppers crust needed a steak knife to cut it open. $7.00

Buyer beware, they delete negative reviews on their social media account.Their full menu isn't available in the online ordering, so I visited the truck. I was ignored for the first 10 minutes, then when I asked if I could put an order in because the full menu wasn't available online I was met with an eye roll and an attitude.I thought hey, its hot on that truck and being an underpaid line cook sucks (I was an exec/ sous for 9 years, linecook for 3) So I bit my tongue and put in my order. The food wasn't good. The cheese sauce was too thick and gritty and there wasn't nearly enough. 10$ for a bowl of noodles. When I got home I threw it in a pan, seasoned it (because it was not seasoned) added two cups of milk, a cube of Velveeta (too late for sodium citrate) and it was actually worth about 10$ after that.David S.- I don't need a cocky response from you. I've seen your response to other customers and am absolutely baffled at your customer service. Sorry you couldn't cut it in a professional kitchen, now I see why why. Your attitude makes you unhirable.

1st online order, there was a delay somehow in them receiving my order, but not too terrible. 10 minutes or so. 1 of the 4 orders was prepared incorrectly (Buffalo chicken cheesesteak instead of regular).2nd order was a disaster - they didn't see my order until I showed up at the door, so a 20 minute wait. 1 of the 4 orders again was incorrect. (NO cheese on a cheesesteak.... How does that even happen?). Also, they forgot the side order of Tots. Please READ your orders. Other than that, food is good quality and taste.(Ordered from their ghost kitchen location on S. Grape St.)
