This was our first visit to Lucy Coffee House and it won't be our last! The owners were so friendly and they definitely know their coffee. Their Ethiopian espresso is smooth, nutty, and delicious. The coffee shop is a large, open space with lots of comfortable seating. Highly recommended (although I'd like to see more gluten free snacks, and no up-charge on the alternative milk.) Lucy Coffee House is a must for coffee connoisseurs!

My friend and I gave this place a try as we wanted to check out a new coffee spot that doesn't close at 2pm. We didn't think too much of it but the inside was pretty chill! The employees were super inviting. The seats were comfy too!Drinks:- Ethiopian Macchiato: this was good! You can taste the coffee depth and it wasn't too strong. I got it with oat milk because I'm lactose intolerant but the barista accidentally made it with regular milk. She stopped me before I drank it and made me a new one. She let us keep the first drink and my friend enjoyed it. I really appreciated her honesty.- Egg Sandwich: It wasn't too bad. The egg wasn't overly or underseasoned, lots of bell peppers and the bread had a soft texture. It was quite oily though. Overall I can see myself hangout here to study or work more often. I wished they had more outlets though

The ambiance was nice, bright, comfy, and clean. It was open and inviting, so room for groups. Plus, they did have a large group room in the back. Service was sweet, kind, and positive! I dropped my nepolian dessert (Oops ) and they refused to allow me to buy another one. I was given a replacement with a smile. The food was great. We shared a chicken panini, which was exploding with flavor! Totally recommend it! And a nepolian... the 2nd one! The espresso was strong and flavorful. Try the Ethiopia one! The sprice juice drink was very different, not sweet. It was drinking an avocado with mango. It took a minute, but it was enjoyable. Overall, yes, you should try this place! It's a treat.

What a charming coffee shop! Love the Ethiopian culture and the coffee is fantastic. I ordered the Americano and then had to run to the bathroom lol the owner waited until I was back to pour me a hot cup! It's attention to detail and service like this that is hard to find. The shop is so bright and inviting the moment you walk in. You could tell there were regulars and everyone seemed so friendly. This is your sign to come in and try out the coffee if you're on the fence!

Really enjoyed our first visit to Lucy Coffee House. Love the laid back vibe and staff was very friendly. I got a cold brew caramel latte and my husband had an Ethiopian macchiato-both were delicious! We will definitely be back!

I had this Lucy coffee house on my bucket list and finally have been able to check it out. First walking in the open space is super inviting with plenty of seating. The space has woven in much of the Ethiopian heritage throughout the coffee house through the decor. Now the service was friendly and the owner of the shop Mickey is very kind and you can tell he is passionate about his shop and taking care of the customers. I got to try the teff chechebesas which was delicious! So much food with a side of yogurt and honey which was the perfect pairing! The sprice smoothie was so delicious and fresh! It was something I really haven't had before the ingredients are so fresh and the avocado taste is something to get use to but I love it! I highly recommend checking out this coffee shop and will add this spot to my rotation!

They serve the espresso my way - with sparkling water! Also: super friendly staff, tasty coffee, nice menu both for coffee drinks and food, and a modern yet cozy interior.

Stop what you're doing and go check out this coffee shop! When you get here, order the chicken sandwich. Maybe it's called a Sonoma Chicken Panini (maybe). You've never had a sandwich like this one and it's addictive and delicious! As a matter of fact, after eating the first one, the owner said he would make me a 2nd one for free, because I couldn't stop talking about the sandwich. GET THE SANDWICH!! After that, I had one of their juices. My juice was made with mango, avocado and strawberries! People, this is the juice to get! I left so full and satisfied. I can't wait to go back for that chicken sandwich!! The esthetic is very soothing. We spent 3 hours in there, just drinking coffee, snacking and talking. Imagine earthy neutral tones, with lots of sunlight and warmth. Finally, an owner who gets out and talks to his customers because he appreciates them. I left feeling like it was an honor to be there. Great work space environment. Great space to read and drink coffee. Great lunch spot. Great dessert and coffee spot. Great juice spot. Great place to play a game and enjoy some dessert. We deserve this type of establishment in our neighborhood so please go support it!! Just go!

Coffee is roasted by the establishment--Ethiopia Yirgacheffe whole beans $18 for 12ounces. It seems they serve and roast only this house coffee which is a medium roast. Full bodied, bold, described as apricot and black tea and I agree. I usually appreciate Ethiopian and most coffee lighter roasted yet I think they did a fine job. A 12 ounce drip was about $3.75. I bought the beans after enjoying the drip with cream.Friendly atmosphere for sure, lovely. Family oriented and thoughtfully decorated with comfy seating.Location? You would need to know it's here in a strip mall, or at least I had to seek it out as a local roaster. Food? IDK. I'm extra when it comes to pastries and food in general. There are muffins and bready items in the case apparently purchased elsewhere. I am embarrassingly interested in what goes in my food. I do plan to return. Ps. What would make it 5 star? A freshly baked treat to go with my coffee not prepackaged, simple ingredients like an almond butter cookie
