Fun environment with great ambiance, I loved the art on the walls. The drinks are a bit pricy and the margarita was weak to be honest but the service was good.Really enjoyed the show last night, openers the salesmen were awesome and Üfer were pretty great especially since my girl Josie was the special guest with her magical pipes

Dive bar through and through. Drinks are a bit pricey and the environment can be grating on the ears, but a lot of good local bands play here so it is worth checking out as a music scene. Heard this place has a jazz night-- might be worth considering.

Lost Lake, I like you. Maybe my expectations were low? But my buddy and I had a great experience on Monday. We were here for the William Duvall acoustic show. What surprised us the most was the efficiency of the bartenders and the coziness of the space. Honestly, I'd pull up a stool at the bar even if I wasn't here for a show! $6 Old Fashioneds with Old Forester as their well whiskey. Hell yeah, dude. Decent selection of local taps, as well. Plus, they have a TV screen behind the bar where you can watch the performing acts. Now this place is tiny. I can't imagine there were more than 100 people here for the show. But that only made our experience all the more enjoyable. William Duvall is the lead singer of Alice In Chains (since the mid-2000s) and he's been touring his new solo acoustic record. I can't think of a more appropriate venue for him to have performed at.First impressions are strong here. Definitely worth checking out for a great live show!

Great drinks, intimate venueCame here to see a friend's band perform. Tickets were $20 online but $15 at the door. They check vaccination cards at the door which is awesome. The drinks are great, bar staff was kind, the bathroom facility was a little dirty.Music acts were all awesome. The volume is super loud so be careful!

$9 coors light draft. I repeat, 9 US dollars for a coors light in a divey venue where the restrooms have kind of a door. Again, $9 for a coors light draft. In Colorado. On east colfax.

I thought this place had been cleaned up after it was the Bulldog...which it is definitely changed, but not entirely "cleaned" up. What is more interesting is that it is a full on music venue now. If you have been to Lion's Lair, this is barely bigger, but managed with TicketFly so they charge more money for the small space. I was in for a sold out event (though "sold out"...SMALL). Sound was actually really good for the space with the exception that the musician's merchandise people talked like they were in a large event & wouldn't shut up during the show which was major distraction (i.e. keep your convo for outside) since the space was small, but otherwise the acoustics and management of the sound was good for the space. The main issue for me with the venue was the bar staff. A gal waiting on us was really not personable and flat out rude. They ran out of liquor and beers before people even showed up fully for the sold out event. I think they should have had another bartender for that fact too. I asked for a glass of water at the bar when there was barely 10 people there for the show, we were sitting at the bar, had already had a round & was onto our 2nd, and it wasn't busy, & I was told rather rudely, like I should know better, to go get it from the water cooler in the other room; shortly after other patrons around us were given water from behind the bar from the same bartender without question or issue. And later in the show, other people seemed to think talking over the musician was OK by the bar. whisper to your friend or go outside...

Went to see Will Evans last night. Show was fun but had to wait a long time to get a drink because the bartender was on her phone for a while before she saw me. No one else was at the bar. When she took my order it felt like I was burdening her so I didn't get another drink after that. I'll be back to see more concerts here but hope I don't have to spend that long waiting for a drink again when I could be enjoying the show.
