Great food, good prices, fantastic service (I happened to catch Nadia, very nice and makes you feel right at home!) - there is no reason not to stop by here if you haven't done so already. I've tried the Chiles Rellenos and the Pollo Adobado (DELICIOOUUUS). I'll definitely be a regular here from now on!

I had the Carne Asada tacos and they were delicious. The steak was cooked well and had tons of flavor. The salsa and chips were ok, salsa could have had a little more punch to it.

I had a large bowl of menudo with pan/bread today. I did notice that they have a lunch buffet on weekdays but I was there for the bowl rec'd by a co-worker. Comp chips and salsa can be an indicator of what's to come. Cool that they're given but the salsa lacked much flavor. I took a peak at the lunch buffet. I'll definitely skip that route. The bowl of menudo came out and the broth was thin and pretty clear but not badly flavored. There was hardly any posole/hominy but there was a decent amount of tripe. I hit it up with the diced raw onion, cilantro, oregano, lime and chile pequine and proceeded to have at it. My second spoonful pulled out a honkin' piece of tripe about 4 inches square! All the tripe in the bowl was cut in odd, too large pieces. At least it was cooked well and the texture was okay. I tore off a piece of the bolillo roll and noticed it wasn't even warmed through let alone toasted. Looking down at it... I notice that there's a hair in it. The waitress apologized and said she'll bring me another right away. She came back shortly with another roll (which again was barely toasted) and after a bite or two I started picking up on the taste of slightly rancid flat top oil on the bread from the grill instead of the usual butter or margarine you get at most other restaurants. Sorry to say but I don't think I'll be back to try anything else on the menu.
