This location is a smaller storefront location with 6 tables. However, for the hour that I sat and enjoyed the ambiance, it appears that 90% of their business is carry-out. But enough on that. On to the food. I ordered two red pork tamales and four asada tacos. The carne asada was juicy and moist and had not been cooked to the more common little meat chunks. The seasoning was still in place on the meat, and it was obvious that the meat had been chopped up from a larger flank steak.The pork tamales were very well made and were delicious. There was a good balance between meat and masa. I picked up a half dozen to take with me.This is a great little place, and I will visit again when I get a chance.

Commerce City authentic hole-in-the-wall review feature: Los Tamales!!THE SPACE: Wonderfully unassuming and tucked into a little strip mall off 62nd and Vasquez sits Los Tamales. It has a small dinning room that can maybe seat 10 people. Most of their business seems to be takeout. If you do choose to dine in, be warned - it gets HOT in the afternoon.THE EATS: Holy. YUM! I've gotta say I'm hooked on the big burrito. Now, this burrito is massive! I've ordered it with both carnitas and carne asada - the carne asada is def where it's at. My coworker frequently get the carne asada fries and those are equally delicious. Next on my must-try list is the breakfast burrito, because let's face it, I am a sucker for a breakfast burrito. THE DRINKS: What would an authentic Mexican meal be like without a litre bottle of real Mexican Coke? Sub par is what it would be. Well never fear because they got you covered! Los Tamales also offers up bottled Fresca, Sprite and other authentic bevvies to wash down your meal. THE SERVICE: Legit the friendliest staff. They are very patient and helpful even when busy. They are always happy to answer any questions you have. Los Tamales is def my newest authentic Mexican obsession. I'll gladly eat there any time and every time I'm in the area. **Pro Tip: Did I mention grab and go tamales?! No!! Well, yeah, they offer up their tasty AF tamales to take home by the dozen for your dinner, lunch, late night snaking, or whatever enjoyment! So go on and treat yo'self!

I've been sleeping on Los Tamales!First off, the tacos are loaded with meat that is cooked perfectly and they are flavorful. The tacos come with fresh chopped onions and cilantro - on the side lime wedges. A green and a red sauce are available for you to dress the tacos. I ordered the carne asada, chicken and carnitas tacos. The carnitas is a winner!!! I ordered tamales to go and I'm so glad I did. Since the name of the restaurants is Los Tamales - I took a calculated risk. They are so bomb: green Chile other cheese and pork in red sauce. Not too spicy, great taste, good size and currently $2 each or $10 for 6. Friendly folks, amazing food!

Stopped by this morning for a breakfast burrito while on my way back to Denver, and I'm glad I did! The service was fast and friendly, the restaurant is clean & inviting. The burrito though! It was a mere $5 and some change for steak, which they were generous with, potatoes, eggs, cheese, green chili, and cheese. I added beans. They offer bacon, ham, sausage, chorizo and a few other selections including smothered. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you're passing through Commerce City, or if you live nearby.

I went twice in a week and got breakfast once then lunch. Both times were really good. The food, prices and service were all great. The staff was different both times and everyone was very friendly. I wish I had a place like this closer to my home.

We ordered food off of delivery they didn't give us one of the plates missing the mexican hamburger and in place gave us breakfast ... when we called the lady said she said she packaged it herself like we was lying ...

I love having this convenient tamale/sit down restaurant so close to me! It is always nice and clean! The tamales are great! The people that take my order are always nice! The green salsa is really good! It fired me up! I'm pretty sure Carlos is the main owner, not sure of his main guy, but I always get a nod of recognition and great food and service! So happy they are near my house! Please don't change anything!

First time here and very glad to have stumbled upon this place. Got the QuesaBirria plate. Best Birria tacos I've ever had. The consumé was delicious and the tacos were crispy. Came with rice and beans which were equally great. It was very busy but the line moved fast and the wait was not long at all. Great spot will be back for sure.
