Met my large adult son here for lunch. First time at this location, but it's the one closest to him. The food was wonderful, but the experience was marred by sloppy and neglectful service, alas. Son works from home on Saturdays, and only had an hour. Server asked if we wanted drinks, we said that water was fine, and he left. He did not return. We finally asked someone to please find him. He took the lunch order, brought it to us, and vanished again. Once again, we had to ask someone to find him and bring the check. This was annoying and not up to the standard set by Los Dos on Holly. However, the food, as always, was wonderful. Son had steak fajitas, and I had the tacos adobada. So good! The decor is similar to Holly. Booths, tables, bar, but more windows. Ambience isn't as bustling as Holly. No lackadaisical servers there. The restaurant was mostly empty at 2 pm on Saturday, making the neglect rather puzzling.

This is by far the best Los Dos in the south metro area. We live 2 minutes from the one in Parker but we cant stand stepping foot in that location anymore so we enjoy Los Dos less often than we prefer, but we make the trek out here as much as we can to enjoy the best Mexican restaurant around and service that matches. Since the first time we stopped at this location we were blown away by the service compared to the Parker location, and that has been consistent every time we stop in. The tables are comfortable, the dining room is clean, and the host even put the CU game on the TV for us the last time we stopped in. This is worth driving past another Los Dos to enjoy great authentic Mexican-Coloradan food!

This is a go-to highlands ranch Mexican spot. We've been countless times and we always have good food and great drinks. We love to get the street taco plate and love the fresh flour tortillas. It does get very busy during certain times so it's best to go in off-times or when you have the time for a wait. The one con I can mention is that it is so hard to get them on the phone to place an order or to ask about the wait.

Came early Saturday evening and deeply disappointed. Service was great but food was not. Server said the queso was amazing, he was wrong. He just said that to raise the bill. Enchiladas were decent. And spouse said their chile rellenos was awful and incredibly too cheesy. Will not be back.

As always food is great. Did the margarita flight this time. They replaced the cucumber margarita with a passion fruit margarita. Both are good palate cleaners.

The service, ambiance, and food NEVER disappoints! We went off script and ordered something different for the first time in a long time. And it truly was AMAZING!!!!We would recommend all Los Dos locations!!

This place is awesome, and the service is fast! I'm a fan of chips and salsa, and Los Dos Potrillos does not disappoint in terms of its chips and salsa. We probably had about eight bowls of the salsa because it was so good - and it had a kick to it. The portion sizes definitely were not small, either - I was stuffed by the end of the meal! I had the steak street tacos. The ambiance was decent, but it felt busy. We only had to wait around 10 minutes to be seated. Our server was very kind and made us feel right at home. He also let us know that they have a new location that opened up in Castle Rock - and he made sure to mention that the food there is just as good!

Ambience: The esthetic of this restaurant is nice, there is plenty of seating and they have a rooftop dining area open during the summer. It's not extremely loud but it is always packed as it's one of the few Mexican restaurants in Highlands Ranch. Service: Service is always pretty good here and on this visit our food came out extremely fast, I want to say it was less than 10 minutes after we placed our order our food was out which we were surprised about. Food: The food is okay I have had better but it's not bad. I ordered a combination plate this time around with a tostada, enchiladas, and beans and rice. They use shredded cheese to stuff their enchiladas which causes them to be extremely greasy which isn't the best, the rice was a little over cooked and crunchy. My wife ordered the chili rellano plate and also had the same complaint with the cheese they use it made it very greasy. Portions are good you definitely get your moneys worth. If you are looking for decent Mexican food in the Highlands Ranch area make a stop at Los Dos.

Today was probably my 6th visit to this restaurant...not by my choice, as whenever I've gone it's been because my friends wanted to go there. I had never had anything there that I thought was particularly good and just did not understand the hype. However, today I got the chile relleno nachos, and oh my gosh! They are amazing! I now want to return just for those. I probably won't be ordering anything else off the menu, since again, I find their burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, etc., very mediocre, but I will be thinking about the chile relleno nachos! Crispy, gooey, goodness.

Food was tasty as ever. Serving sizes are getting smaller. We ordered fajitas and the little fajita meat there was, was piled on excessive grilled veggies. We ordered grilled jalapeños and the order of 3 was $4. Shocked $1.33 each.
