Living the Dream is a must stop in the South Denver area with an outstanding variety of beers available. I usually like to sample all the IPAs and pick a favorite - which is usually really hard since they are all so good!

Our large group stopped in after an event nearby this week and they were very accommodating. The place is spacious, but it felt kind of.. industrial inside? And smelled like chlorine. It's cool they're dog friendly and that they have food trucks and that they allow you to bring in outside food as well. They have a large selection of beep to try and had some hard seltzers as well. I tried the sour which was pretty tasty! Everyone seemed to like what they tried, including the flights. The gals working were super friendly and helpful. The inside vibe just wasn't working for me, people were hoping for "things to do" besides watching sports. But overall it was a chill time with tasty beverages!

Living the Dream is the place to be! Great variety of beer! Place was busy at 4:00 pm on a Friday but there are plenty of places to sit both inside and out. They don't serve food inside but there is a rotating food truck in the parking lot. You can visit their website (www.livingthedreambrewery.com) for a food truck schedule. Tonight was pizza from Wheels on Fire (www.wheelsonfire.com) - pizza was great! They are similar to a personal pizza size so depending on how hungry you are and/or how many people in your party, you may want to order multiple. Bonus! Dogs are allowed inside! But beware: it was busy and loud which may be overwhelming for your dog. Keep that in mind if you're thinking of bringing your four legged BFF.

Stopped in for a beer and was very surprised as to how busy this spot was (not an empty seat in the house)!!Kid and pet friendly, no food but there was a taco truck parked right out front. Bar top seating also available and great brew options. Ambiance was warm and inviting and the staff was friendly and very attentive. Great little spot!!

Finally had a chance to stop in last night at the new location. I knew it was here, but I never really thought about it when nearby because it's not at all visible from the road. Having never been to the old location, I have nothing to compare this to, but it's nice. With roll-up garage doors and lighting that isn't too bright, there's a pretty cool vibe here. Even being in less than 30 mins to close on a Thursday night, there were several people enjoying their drinks and conversation. My wife and I both tried and liked the porter and Amber. We ended up each with the porter, but I would get the amber on a future visit if the porter isn't an option. Both women beertenders were friendly as well. Will definitely come back.

I don't like to tell people to not try a place so I won't. Go as see for yourself. I feel like the atmosphere at Living the Dream is that if you are not a regular, you are not as welcome. Like it's a mild inconvenience that your needs are taking them away from the customers they would rather talk to. The beer is good enough but for me; I would rather buy the beer at a store and take it home to my own patio. Im bummed because I was hoping that with the location change the atmosphere would also change but it is the same as it was at the old location.

Love this spot! Being originally from the area, yet now living out of state, this is a go-to when visiting home.Their Powder Run may be one of my favorite all time beers. A little sweet with the vanilla & cream combo, but very easy to drink. Doesn't get old or overwhelming after a few.Even though it's tucked away off the main road, the space has great vibes. My husband was even able to get some studying done mid afternoon on a weekday. I believe they open up a larger space with picnic table like seating later in the day - can be outdoor in nice weather. Never had a hard time finding seating, but could see it getting crowded.Staff has always been welcoming & kind. Look forward to supporting next time we're in town!

New location, who dis?Living the Dream is now in the old Grist location so it feels somewhat familiar. Plenty of seating between inside and out although I wish they would have more coverage outside because that Colorado sun will get you! I dig that they are good about having food trucks just about every day and very consistent about posting on social media about the goings on. Dog friendly too which is always a bonus (they have treats at the bar when you order!) and they have a decent sized beer selection, not too little, not too overwhelming so they have mastered that. I typically get the Powder Run Vanilla Cream Ale when I visit, one pint is just enough for me and their IPAs have been winners as well. Staff is alright, not sure if they are overwhelmed most days I go or what but it seems to be order, pay, repeat with little conversation in between and they haven't seemed to welcome questions when I've come in (old location and new) so that always leaves something to be desired.

Amazing brewery to visit if you're traveling through Denver! They have an amazing list of IPAs our bartender Brandon described them very well and thought me a lot about different IPAs. They didn't have a kitchen but the food truck with wings were amazing! They are grilled and fried! Best wings I have had. However I love to collect glasses from brewers while traveling, unfortunately they didn't have any to purchase which was kinda upsetting. Other than that service and atmosphere was amazing
