Connected to Comedy Works, this place is a nice concept! I didn't even know it was separate from the comedy club until I saw a menu. They have an outside area and a smaller, intimate inside area. Outside has more seating, and you'll pretty much fight for a seat inside. I guess maybe 7-8 spots at the bar, and then some cushioned seats along the wall with high top tables. I wandered in here bc I got to the show early, so found a seat at the bar and ordered a beer. Couple draft options plus a full bar with specialty drinks. They have a food menu as well, which I think they provide the bar and food service for Comedy Works. The bartender was nice but very busy. I had some chicken quesadillas. Nothing to write home about but I thought the price was great for what I got (quesadillas, chips and small side of salsa).Oh, the best part was the live music. I enjoyed hearing the last strum her guitar and liked most of her song choices. I did tip her as well.Overall, a great stop prior to going into the club. I'd suggest getting to the comedy club early and snagging a seat on the cushioned bench. This isn't a place I'd just come to and eat though.

We dropped by here because there was going to be live music and happy hour. We ordered the Buffalo wings, calamari, and beef satay for our appetizers. The wings were a bit too spicy so they took that off our order which was really nice. Our server was very friendly. During the live music, I wanted pineapple juice and he said it was on him. Wow! Very nice!

Ambiance means a lot to me, and this place was great - live music, great lighting, nice furniture and a super friendly waitstaff. I went on a Saturday night, and at first there were only a few couples there (around maybe 6:00). I for one actually didn't mind this, because there was an acoustic musician playing on the patio and it reminded me of a private backyard session. As the night wore on, the patio filled up, but thankfully it never got too noisy or uncomfortably crowded. I had two drinks, both of which I really liked, but my favorite was the pear ginger cocktail - a little sweet, a little tart and very tasty! Also, kudos to our waiter for striking the right balance - he was attentive but not "too attentive."I thought this was a fun place to unwind!

So, for such an up and coming hot part of town, it felt more like simmering pot of nothing. The lounge is new. The furniture is comtemporary. There are some great design elements, but the reality is - the crowd is non-existent, and boring. It's hard to find, and if you arent going to Comedy Works, why bother? Jing is across the street and even the shine has worn off that new toy. It's just not in a hot location and without any draw, why bother? You'd have to mapquest this place and we all know that's not hot.The bartenders are hot.The servers are cool. The menu is limited. Like 4 items.HH is from 3-6, perfect for after work DTC action. They do have a big screen if you and your friends want to go watch a game...alone. In a museum environment.

We went here for girls happy hour after work and I thought it was pretty good. When I say good I mean, "good-for -the-price." Martini's were tasty and less than $5 and the $1 food menu was satisfying. We each got fries and a couple sliders all of which were good by happy hour standards (especially for a dollar). I agree with the reviewer before me. There isn't much of a crowd but that's actually nice if you're looking to relax and be able to hear the person across from you. This isn't an amazing or trendy place to take your friends but if you're looking to have cheap eats and drinks with friends on a patio in the DTC after work it's a good option.

Little bar located inside of the comedy works building. Our bartender was Jake and he did a great job mixing drinks and keeping up with a variety of drink requests. There probably could have been another bar tender to assist with the capacity of the group, especially since my friend let them know there would be about 20 or more people coming by. This is not a bar that is open til 2 am its only open during comedy works hours. The drinks are kind of strong

This place has a graduated happy hour, from 3:30-4:30 they have $3 martinis and cheap ass snacks. From 5:30-6:30 $5 martinis but not food specials. I think they should meet in the middle and just have 4.00 martinis and snack deals. The other bars seemed PACKED but there was NO ONE at Lila B's. They even had a dude playing guitar on the patio, and me and my husband. Its nice, too and the deals are fab. I did see people come up and check out the menu on display, which did not show happy hour but the brunch menu from Lucy's upstairs. I am wondering if people get that the lounge is open - and that they have a kinda amazing happy hour. The lounge is lovely inside, the walls look all glittery but they are covered in tiny glass beads.I had a cosmo, it was yummy. Not AMAZING but good. I will be back to try to score a 3.00 martini at some point.

Seeing there hasn't been a review of this place in the past few years made me a little skeptical but I had a great experience regardless. If you work near the Landmark, this is a fabulous spot to get your happy hour on. Libations, food, music, they have it all! I came here with a colleague on the tail end of happy hour (4-630pm) and was more than pleased to see that they had $3 glasses of wine. And you know what? 3 dolla make me holla! Along with that, starters are 1/2 off so we grabbed a spinach and artichoke dip and two bowls of french onion soup (a little on the pricey side but the serving was huge) and all was good in the hood. They had live music while people were waiting to enter Comedy Works and once they opened up the line, the place emptied out. There was only one person working as bartender and server but he was hustling. I wouldn't make a special trip from the other end of town but if you work in DTC, this is a great place to unwind and throw a few back.

A small bar in comedy works landmark. Nothing really special, but they have an amazing Caprese salad! Yum!

Best experience ever! We actually ended up coming to Lila B as a last resort because the pub across the street was packed. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in the entire bar and we decided to seat ourselves at the bar. The bar is a bit small compared to other bars, but then again this one is the part of the lobby of Comedy Works. The inside is clean and very modern with lots of colorful lights and while walls, white leather couches, leather stools. Clean too! The bartender Dusty, who is AWESOME, let us try some of the seasonal beers and made a cool shot called the "underwater city"!! It looked like a lava lamp.. it was delicious. Anyways, he was the nicest bartender I've ever come across, was polite and down to earth and didn't ignore us even when the place got so packed you couldn't see the floor. He's very personable and actually remembered half the people's names as they walked through the door. My bf and I are definitely coming back JUST to get Dusty as our bartender again.
