I bought pumpkin leaves from this store last week with the price of 8 dollars. when I reached to home and start to clean it to cook, it was rotten. the same way I purchased milk from this store, 3 times, the milk was damaged and I couldn't utilize probably I lost 20$. it was the money I lost but the intention of Mr Krishna Kafle ( owner) to loot the customer and become rich. never think to cheat customer today, tomorrow the nature will punish such cheater heavily. Do not intend to cheat loyal customer, they make money by hard work. I know many of the grocery items in this store are date expired and not good to use I never recommend to people not to visit this store for grocery.

I had a very bad experience in Laxmi foods and would not recommend it. The owner is very rude. They had increased the price a week ago and claimed that prices keep changing and there is no price guarantee. Their billing system has an overriding feature that allows them to change the value of the product than what is in the system. Always pay attention to the billing person for the prices as no one will assist you later if you have queries.Upon inquiring, the owner was very rude and did not care about a regular customer. One of the worst experiences ever and will never visit this store to get insulted.

I am pleased with this store,I can get my fix of authentic Nepali foods even achar and snacks (including titaura) as well. There are Indian selections available as well. I am so happy since it is so hard to find a store that specializes in genuine Nepali goodies in Denver.

I cook Indian food at least once a week. Bangla Bazaar is where I shop for Indian staples like lentils, chickpea flour, paneer, spices (everything from Iranian saffron, asafoetida, and pomegranate seeds to giant bags of coriander and cumin at very low prices), frozen naan, and at my last visit I bought 8 lbs of fresh goat, butchered by the owner himself. This store has no produce, and for good reason: It's across the parking lot from H-Mart which has that more than covered. It wouldn't make sense to duplicate their produce section. What makes this store special to me is that the owners are so friendly and helpful. The kind of customer service they offer is something that went out of fashion here long ago. They greet us at the door, offer my son candy at each visit, ask us if we need help finding things, recommend the best brands, offer to open up packages to let us try new things, offer to give us a discount on high-priced items (the big box of saffron goes for somewhere around $100), carry groceries to our car, and they remember us. They even gave my son a birthday gift. This is small-town customer service from the 1950's, or maybe it's normal Bengali customer service, but either way, I love it!

Small south asian food store across the shopping center parking lot from H-Mart. Decent selection of pickles, spices and dried lentils.... not much else. No fresh food section and a couple of freezers full of ready to eat meals. Not worth a trip in itself but good combined with H-Mart.

Great small store with a lot of imported food/ingredients/spices from India. Owner is very helpful if you have questions and prices are very competitive. Definitely recommend.

If i could i would give the store a zero star. I went in yesterday to get me the groceries. I usually go to bombay bazaar or haat bazaar. Since they've been closed due to COVID19, had to go to this spot. The owner seemed like a decent man. But his wife is so rude and has zero knowledge about customer service. I went to the restroom and threw away the first pair of gloves she'd given me. Coz ofcourse i'm not gonna wipe myself with the gloves on or reuse the gloves once i've been to the restroom. I asked for the second pair but she refused to give and was so rude about it. So yeah, if you want to open your store during this pandemic, thats great, thank you for that. But follow the proper protocol. Nobody should reuse the gloves after using the restroom. not even you. And try to learn to respect your customers. Don't act like you're in a fish market with that kinda horrible attitude. Never going back to this store ever again.
