Great food, delicious margaritas, and very friendly service. Nice atmosphere inside and there is even a pretty view of Denver. Easily my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Lakewood area. We have been a couple times now and always enjoy it!!

I went for breakfast burritos about four times in a month. I had the handheld to-go burritos for 5.99 as well as the smothered ones in-house. Thought they were of the best breakfast burritos I've found in Lakewood or the Denver area. I shared this find with friends and family. One day, it was not as good. I don't know what happened, different recipe or different preparation. Maybe I would enjoy it on a different day, but haven't been back.

This little gem is so close to home, I could walk but, I'm lazy so, I drive. I've been here a few times and have always had a great experience. The salsa and chips are consistently fresh and keep me wanting more. Thin and nicely salty chips are my favorite. Today I had the special which was a potato, bean, and green chile burrito with two eggs. Nicely seasoned and plated dish that I devoured with the delicious green chile. The breakfast menu is fairly extensive and has something for everyone. For lunch and dinner the menu grows and you have beer, wine, marg, and tequila options available. I have yet to try desserts here but, they have the usuals on hand - churros, fried ice cream, flan, and sopapillas. The local hs is across the street and they offer a grab and go breakfast deal for the kids which is pretty awesome. I know I would be stopping in for this!!

Beware of the date of older bad reviews as owners and employees come and go in any restaurant.. We eat there a couple times a month, usually take out, but Sunday we sat in. Food was great, employees were efficient and friendly.Everyone has their own standards of good/great Mexican food, and experiences with different places, but we were happy with our meals.

Place is going downhill. Ordered a tamale dinner. Paid $14 for it, got home and it's one tamale. Poor tamale was just chillin by itself the whole car ride home. When I called the store, they said they only charged me for one tamale. I would have to come back and pay for another tamale. But they would give me the rice and beans for free. (Oh you mean the dinner I already paid for?) Check your orders before you leave. Actually. Try somewhere else. I Used to like this place a lot. But it's gone downhill. New owners maybe? Also their website sucks.
