Las Fajitas Mexican Restaurant

We have been unpleasantly surprised at the price of the Mexican restaurants in this area so we decided to try something new. The reviews were decent so we stopped in & we're glad we did. Low-key hole in the wall in a strip mall surrounded by Asian spots. But the vibe was chill, the food came out hot & was really good. Salsa was on point. Not too spicy but flavorful. The chips are really good & sprinkled with some sort of yummy powder. The only complaint was that the only beer they had on tap was Dos Equis Amber and it was FLAT & tasted watered down, so I took a star away for it...it was 22oz for $8.50, I was wanting a Modelo and surprised they didn't have it. The margs seem pricey so I skipped one this time. $11-13 for a small, larges were $20!!! Also, the sign coming in said the first basket of Chips n salsa was free but 3.99 each after that. Which was kinda funny to me. Also I read that refills aren't free. We didn't get one so I'm unsure of this. I ordered off the Ala Carte menu & got a beef enchilada & hard taco for $9. Can't beat it. Very flavorful. Our waitress was friendly & attentive. For 2 people with a beer and soda came to $37. We'll definitely be back.

The was very fresh, but I found it to be on the bland side. I'll likely go again just to see if I feel the same. My husband lived it because he doesn't like spicy food.

So delish I forgot to get a pic! I used to live nearby and would come here often for tacos al carbon- I don't get the low stars- this place is just as I remember! Flavorful tacos, good bean and rice and the salsa and chips are fresh as usual! Love this spot! Check it out! And the service was stellar as well!

Your basic Mexican restaurant, in many ways. From the okay food to the lack of service, this place has a bit to be desired. There are signs placed EVERYWHERE about the charge for chips and salsa, which is really strange and takes away from what ambience the place had. Not terrible but definitely not amazing either.

Best authentic Mexican food I've ever had tbh. Enchiladas are so good and their portion sizes are incredible. They have food ordering through GrubHub only I believe just in case you are having issues with other apps. Call in and go pick it up too to help them get all the money without a middleman!

Waitress didn't come to see if we needed something, I didn't like the flautas combination, but I didn't have time to wait for a replacement order.The waitresses attended others, but not us.

Solid Mexican food restaurant. Service is quick. I was surprised that I enjoyed the green chili cheese fries my son ordered. Our table ordered the Carna Asada, menu accurately describes it as a thin sliced rib eye steak which was quite tasty. Chicken flautas, veggie burrito and burrito/enchilada combo dinner. Reasonable prices, good serving sizes.

Tortillas, salsa, chips all taste freshly homemade like my visits to my girlfriend's grandmother house. Everything I've eaten is satisfying homemade comfort food. Large portions, enough for two dinners for me.My go to place for Mexican food fix. Just discovered they have chef choice monthly specials.

I really used to like this place. I moved to the Southlands area several months ago, prior to living here I went to the Havana location for years. I was excited when I learned there was a location close by. Between dine in and take out I would eat at this restaurant 2-3 times a week. There are better places but the food is pretty consistent and their prices are reasonable. I recently had a to go order and my order was not completed properly. When I asked to have the order completed properly the manager became very confrontational and I was told I would need to pay more money. I refused to pay more money for something that was supposed to included in my order and ultimately left w/o the food and w/o paying because I was not going to pay for an incomplete order and I was not going to pay more to have the order completed. Shortly after I left the restaurant I received a Voicemail on my phone from a man named Mario. Mario claimed to be the manager. Rather than calling to ask what occurred and how the situation could be remedied, Mario told me I can not come back to his restaurant. If Mario is reading this, don't worry Mario I had no intentions of going back after this experience. Your unprofessional voicemail reassured my decision to not come back and ensured I'd leave this review so people know how poorly your restaurant is managed. The management at this restaurant is terrible and the service has gone downhill. There are several other Mexican restaurants in the area and you'll be better served visiting them.
