Lacuna Coffee

Blazing FAST internet speed! Working remotely, I wanted to find a cafe that had excellent wifi. At many cafes that I've gone to, the wifi speed can't handle video conference and A/V streaming. I was shocked to see how FAST the internet is here at the cafe. 130bps Down and 125 mbps Up. Absolutely incredible.It's also nice to have plenty of room between tables and chairs to sprawl out to work and relax. Love it here!!!

The first Monday of every month, East hills community church hosts a 2 hour Storytime with Daycare. It's amazing! It's not drop off daycare, but you leave your kids in the nursery while you have a coffee with your friends, or work etc in the coffee shop.You can't see the coffee shop from outside because it's inside the church building. They separate the kids according to age levels. The little kids play with toys, older kids get storytime and games. If it's warm they play in the playground outside as well. Very well organised. The drinks are all very reasonably priced. My 16oz tea was $1.75 and the coffees are a little more. The seating area is clean and comfortable, everyone is very friendly. There was even a child safety seat in the restroom if you don't want to leave your kid strapped to the change table! Will be back!

I went in this morning and it was my first visit. Vee was working (Barista- is that proper if a male?)So kind and thoughtful, made an awesome Americano. Relayed they have seasonal flavors with some still available: Gingerbread! Alas, Keto doesn't allow today. Really beautiful space, lots of light.If you go in through the back of the church you enter right into the coffee shop. I'll definitely be going back, I'd like to just sit in there and read or work. Only open a few hours for now, says they'll add more when business grows. It's definitely a little gem.

Lacuna is the real deal located Inside of Eastern hills church off Smokey hill road. Cruise around to the back entrance and you'll find a dope specialty shop. They use Corvus coffee and pull spro on a legit La Marzocco Gb5 machine! The manager Vee was dope, he poured a beautiful cappuccino with spectacular latte art. He was listening to Backstreet Boys when I came in, weird flex but cool! All in all this shop is amazing and definitely one to check out! A hidden gem in the suburbs of Aurora.

Lacuna has such a cool vibe! The coffee is amazing! It has great space to get some reading, writing, & work done. It's a relaxing environment and is the perfect place to meet some friends to catch up over a cup of coffee. It's right inside Eastern Hills Church but open to EVERYONE! Highly recommend Lacuna- definitely my favorite aurora coffee shop! Give it some love!
