La Patrona

My boyfriend noticed a food truck over at the dirt lot by our place. We decided to give them a try last night. While the menu doesn't list carnitas as one of the meats for the tacos, the lady was still able to make them, just ask! Aside from the tacos we also order a chicharron and queso pupusa and pastor tacos. There is a table set up in front of the truck with an ez-up (although the top was missing, maybe it was windy?) We took our food to-go, it took about 10 minutes or less. While there are no prices listed, with tip we spent less than $25. This was for 6 tacos and 1 pupusa. The food was really tasty! I'm so glad they're close. I really liked the green salsa, the red is definitely on the spicier side. It also had a smokey flavor. The carnitas was tender and flavorful. I tried some of the pastor and I actually enjoyed the taste. I usually don't go for pastor but they did it well! The pupusa with the curtido and salsa was delish! We enjoyed our whole meal and can't wait to go back!We did ask her hours and they're Monday thru Saturday 8am-8pmSunday 8am-4pm If it is slow, she did mention she may close up early.

Delicious!!! What a great food truck experience. Super low prices, with fresh flavorful food. The Pupusas were heaven! They were out of the cheese, so I tried the Cactus. Yum! The cabbage and sauce were fresh and yummy. My husband had the carne asada and carnitas tacos, and they were delicious. 3 tacos + 2 pupusas = $16

Best taco I've had in Colorado. Possibly ever. And I'm from Southern California. Pupusas we're also to die for and they serve it with all the fixings. They made this California native very happy. P.s. I love Colorado Mexican food it's just different and has never hit the spot like this place.
