La Keka Mexican Food

I don't normally rate food trucks but this one was extra special. The woman running it is absolutely incredible. She's funny, sassy and even taught me a little Spanish while I was there. The Chihuahua Dog she made me might be the very best hot dog I've ever had. It has bacon and onions, peppers etc and is quite spicy. It was mouth watering and the smell while she was cooking it made me even hungrier. This is located near the exit of the Home Depot in Bear Valley. The dog, chips and a drink was around nine bucks. It was worth every penny.

Stopped at La Keka this morning for two breakfast burritos. The two people working were very friendly! Everything was made fresh, the burritos are large and the tortilla is outstanding!! Unfortunately we both received two potato-only burritos. There were no eggs, no salsa, a few crumbles of bacon and one small spot in the very center of melted cheese. Was it delicious? Yes - somehow a potato only burrito is really good from La Keka! Will I be back? Maybe, but not for breakfast burritos

I got the chorizo breakfast burrito. While it was a little heavy on the potatoes for my liking, it had some of the best flavor of any breakfast burrito I have had in CO so far. I didn't ask her name, but the single woman running everything solo did amazing. She double checked what vegetables my girlfriend wanted on her vegetable burrito. Amazing food and great service all around! I can't wait to try the Chihuahua dog on my next visit.

Great breakfast burrito in the Home Depot parking lot!We arrived a little after 8 am, and the lady running the cart was still setting up. She took our order and said give her 15 minutes, so we went shopping and came back out, she still wasn't quite ready, but it only took a few more minutes to get our food.The burritos were decent sized and tasty. I got the chorizo, and my wife got the sausage. Mine was about perfect, but my wife lacked eggs and was mostly potatoes.All in all, a great place to grab a morning snack, but I could see them getting backed up and taking a lot of time.Pro-tip: If you order your burrito spicey, it will be. I liked it, but my wife felt it was a little too hot.

This place is great! I love the tacos, & they have a great hotdog. I Just wish they we're open 24/7!

I've been coming here for a long time. It closed for a year during Covid but she's back and so am I. Honestly there's nothing on this truck that's not insanely good. Yes it can take a while to get your food but chill. It's worth the wait. Xo

Workers were nice however I was disappointed that the workers filled my Carne Asada Burrito with just potatoes, No meat at all. The hotdogs are good just don't get the burritos unless you love potatoes.

This is the best simple Mexican food on this side of Denver. And the hot dogs are amazing. You're missing out if you don't at least stop by on your lunch hour or before heading home!

Raquel is absolutely amazing. That chihuahua hot dog is like nothing I've ever had in my life. It's spicy, full of bacon and absolutely delicious. Make the trip here it's totally worth it. It's in front of Home Depot.
