La Finca

Came back to this place because the food was soooooo good This time around I got the picada and it was 100% enough for 2 ppl ... If you notice in the picture it's a little bit of everything. The patacones ( fried plantain) O M G , so good We also got empanadas and they didn't fail.I love coming here because it is like stepping into Colombia !! The waitresses are soooo sweet and nice Ok this night they had a live singer so the music was poppin'...And the crowd was great .

The remodel looks great and the back patio could be a summer sensation. The food? Well, we enjoyed the fresh housemade empanadas and bunuelos and mi esposa Colombiana rates the fare as good. It didn't knock our socks off but it did scratch the itch for some Colombian cuisine nearby our house. Service was attentive and the Spanish speaking staff addressed her with respect and professionalism. The empanadas were crispy and fresh but a little heavy - just a touch past the light crispy shell of a perfectly executed dish. The bunuelos repeated the theme - very fresh and spongy inside, but again lacking the sophisticated texture balance of chewy with lightness with well executed Colombian pastry. The best bite was a wonderful pork chicharron, salty and crispy and chewy. Overall, it's a spot to visit if you haven't experienced the tastes of Colombia. Buen provecho!

The one thing I love most about Colfax is the amount of cultural finds you will discover! La Finca is one of those !! Super clean, fun vibes with a large outdoor patio and music, along with amazing, authentic Colombian food, beer and desserts! Highly recommend this place, off the beaten path

Great service in Spanish with translation as needed! Love the food, the music and the courteous and cute waitresses!

Primero hordenamos alas antes de laa 2:50, dejamos que 30 minutios pasaran y nadien estuvo pendiente de nuestra mesa. después, otra muchacha pasó a alaa 2:40 a preguntar si habíamos terminado de comer Le dijimos que no ni bian pasado a preguntar si queriamos otra bebida. la muchacha respondio sarcásticamente " o no no puede ser" 10 minutos después nos trajeron lo que alguien más avia ordenado 20 minutos después mi comida salió fria y duro.le aviso a una mesera, se llevaron la comida y nadien vino a dar disculpas o ofrecer otra Cosa. la mesera que tuvimos a primero bino a darnos la cuenta en menos de un minuto Y cobrar todo. primero ves en este lugar y Ultima. 1 1/2 para esto no vale la pena!

Not recommended. Go somewhere else. Terrible tasre on the food and very pricey! The sancocho tastes like starch soup. No flavor. The arepa, same. It tastes like it was microwaved. The only thing worth ordering was the buñuelos.

The steps con pollo is delicious! The vibes are great there and idk what they're called, but they're fried balls with meat and veggies inside and a hard boiled egg in the center. I've never seen these before and WOW they're amazing! Can't go to La Finca without ordering those
