King of Wings

Golden finally has a worthy wing place! I've been here twice now and the wings are lick your fingers good. I've tried the dry rub and a few of the buffalo sauces. Just amazing. My dad who is not sophisticated in the ways of the wing ordered chicken tenders. He said they were the best tenders he has ever had.Will definitely be going back!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon after a short stroll by the river. We were seated in the tall shareable tables. The server was super friendly and informative.What we swallowed:*LEMON PEPPER WINGS*CHICKEN NUGGETS*ONION RINGS*LEMON PEPPER FRIES*CAJUN FRIESWe were so hungry, it was all a blur. Everything came out hot and delicious. My hubby really liked the wings (he doesn't like them too moist) but I thought they were still delicious and moist. The lemon pepper was a little heavy handed so we ordered a round of plain chicken nuggets for my daughter and she loved it. The different fry flavors were delicious and so was the onion rings: crispy and tasty.Our server was definitely friendly and helpful and told use about the smash burger Wednesday, which sounded intriguing. We will definitely be back.

They are certainly the king of wings, but we have found ourselves returning to the chicken tenders! Perhaps a name change is in order? We love coming here, the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and quick, and the location is wonderful. We always eat and then go for a stroll along clear Creek, which is just out front. The sauces are endless and each is better than the last. We get a small fries and a small onion rings, and 3 tenders each and that's usually more than enough. We'll be back, again and again.

A friend recommended King of Wings to us recently and so I added a bookmark immediately in the Yelp app. I took a peak at the reviews and holy cow, I see why they were raving. Of course we went within days, as KOW is super close to home for us. Wow. You know where we sat, right? At the bar, of course. There were just two seats left and before we left, the line to be seated was out the door and into the parking lot. In fairness, it was a holidays and we came early (thank goodness). Even with the crowds though, the KOW team cranked out food, sat folks, took care of drinks. It was impressive. And, all with smiles to boot. This crew killed it. Omg, and the wings. Total disclosure, I'm not a wings person. It's too messy and I get impatient, lol. I had planned to have their cauli bites (and I did) but I also ended up eating 6 wings. Messy face, didn't care. These were so good - tender, perfectly seasoned and the sauces! We choose lemon pepper rub, bourbon buffalo and spicy Thai. I might be a wings convert. Seriously, this meal blew our minds. Oh.... and def order the watermelon marg and the jalepeno mezcal marg. HEAVEN.

Delicious wings, amazing beer. We came here for the hard to get Lyric Brewing IPA. Delicious. Super friendly and quick service. Kind of a small space. We were asked to share a table with strangers but it was all good. They served wings Thursday - Sunday. Tuesdays were tacos and Wednesdays were hamburgers. Different restaurants take over the space. This seems to be a concept in Denver Metro now for some reason - restaurants share space to save $$.

Golden... the King also does burgers... sometimes... If you haven't gone to check out the royal highness's Snipe Burger, then you have not tried one of the best burgers in Denver! I'm not kidding. It's truly the most legendary smash burger in all the lands and the regal cousin to their wings. It's a double brisket patty (or more), american cheese, pickles, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, lettuce, tangy sauce and alil' bit of unknown magic all stacked on a soft yet toasted bun. Typically, it's sold on Wednesdays from 4pm - 9pm or until sold out. You can follow King of Wings instagram account to get their official schedule, tho!

Came for Snipe Burger Wednesday and the vibes were amazing and the burger was phenomenal, will definitely bring out of towners here!Had to come edit the review because of the Gooey Butter Cake...I have to be honest...when it came out as a block wrapped in plastic wrap...I was skeptical and definitely talked a bit of smack BUT then my boyfriend and I tried it and holy smokes that's one of the best desserts we've ever had. Do yourself a favor and get the dessert you won't regret it!

Wow! I've been dying to try this place! And I'm a new fan! These wings were amazing. We tried 3 different flavors (Alabama white sauce, honey mustard and the lemon pepper dry rub) These flavors were the bomb! I was shocked that I loved the lemon pepper dry rub, it's not usually my thing but they were so delish. The right amount of tang from the lemon and the right amount of pepper and so crispy on the outside! I loved the honey mustard too! My least favorite was the Alabama white sauce (still like them just not my top 3) but my husband LOVED them!!We had a couple top shelf margs and they were super tasty! Perfect salt radio too!!The service was the best - one of our servers was JJ and he made our night! We can't wait to go back and try their smash burgers (Wednesday night y'all!!!)And the new Golden location has an outdoor eating area and we were able to bring our dog - bonus points for us!

I don't what I can say about king of wings that hasn't been said before, but this are by far my all time favorite wings. I have never had a bad experience there. The sauces are so flavorful and so well seasoned - it is impressive. The grill on the wings is always on point and now you can even get margaritas! The service is always super friendly and very attentive with a laid back vibe which also happens to be super welcoming. Definitely check them out!
