Honestly, the best thing around! The lady was super nice, the food was fresh, and the taste was amazing! This was the second time we came back! Visited on Saturday and had to come back on Monday before flying out! - Korean Perilla Noodle: very earthy and full body but a bit grainy. 7.5/10- Anchovy Noodle: light and flavorful! Like perfect and homey tasting! 9/10- Tuna Kimbap: So filling yet so little rice! The tuna was delicious! 9/10- Spicy Pork Kimbap: this was what we tried the second time! Freshly made and super filling! 8/10

Jongro Kimbap is such a great little spot in Aurora. It's a super small storefront, but don't let that fool you, the food is amazing. They specialize in kimbap and noodle soups, and everything is made fresh to order.I had the bulgogi kimbap, and it was packed with so much tender, flavorful bulgogi. Every bite had the perfect balance of rice, meat, and veggies. You can really taste the freshness. I also tried the kimchi soup, which had just the right amount of heat. It was rich, spicy, and full of flavor, and the udon-style noodles made it even heartier. One thing I really appreciate about places that serve noodle soups is when they separate the noodles from the broth for takeout. It keeps everything from getting soggy, and I love that Jongro Kimbap does this. The service was just as good as the food. The woman at the counter was really friendly and helped us right away. She also made sure to let us know that the kimchi soup isn't vegetarian since they use bone broth, which I really appreciated. They do have a few small tables if you want to eat there, but we grabbed takeout, and it was packaged perfectly. Everything about this place was a win. Fresh food, great service, and thoughtful details that make the experience even better. I can't wait to go back!

Jongro is the cutest (new) addition to Aurora! I saw the viral Instagram reel of "where to find squid games food in Colorado" and this popped up for kimbap! I googled it right away, packed my husband and son on the car, and we went the same day! It's a super small shop with three tables, 12 chairs, and just enough room to walk to the register to order. These places are the ones I love because you know the food is going to be good! After a minute of indecisiveness, we ordered the original and spicy pork kimbap. Each order comes with 12 pieces, and what I love the most is that it's made fresh! There's no "sitting in the fridge" type of kimbap here. We devoured all of it when we got home. I really appreciated the spicy mayo that it came with on the side. It tied all the flavors together. Also, the sweet owner encouraged us to use the online ordering system through their website next time as it can get super busy! Like real busy - she had 115 orders to fulfill the next morning before 10:30 am and she was going to arrive to work at 3 am! So appreciate the hustle, and I hope this place thrives! We will be back!

This place is absolutely fabulous. You walk up and order at the counter. The interior is small but there is some seating. They only serve kimbap and soup. We ordered the tuna and kimchi kimbap and it was made fresh to order and was the best kimbap I'd ever had! Each slice was stacked with different fillings. Can't wait to go back and try other rolls!

Cute little kimbap place run by a Korean auntie. We ordered the original and spicy pork kimbap and also got a free chicken soup as well. Service was very quick and it's a no frills place.

I have spent years looking for kimbap in Denver and I literally wanted to cry when we found this place. The kimbap is made fresh and sticks to the authentic flavors (no fusion here).

AMAZING!! My favorite place to eat when visiting Denver/Aurora (I'm from Houston,TX btw so I have high standards for food, especially because korean is one of my favorite cuisines). The owner is the sweetest, noodles soups are made fresh and if you want a kimbap that isn't already made, she'll make it fresh for you!The anchovy is a classic, light clear broth for to try for first timers. The chicken is popular too but I wasn't in the mood for chicken. The kimbap is AMAZINGLY portioned. Not too much rice and plenty of meat and veggies (she is very generous). A MUST TRY if you're in Denver. The space itself is a bit small but support her so she can grow!

Denver/Aurora definitely needed a place like this! Love that this place specializes in Kimbap and Korean noodle soup and they were executed perfectly. Really tastes like true Korean home cooking. The really nice auntie that runs the restaurant checked on us to make sure everything was perfect - and it was. A great place to stop for lunch!

Stumbled across Jongro while searching for kimbap. I found a few restaurants that served it as one of many things, but I was looking for something more casual and family run. I got the original, Bulgogi, and mini kimbap. It was exactly what I was looking for and hit the spot. I will definitely be going back and recommending it to friends as I continue to search for all of the besy Korean food in Denver. I definitely want to go back to try the Kalguksu. Perfect for a grab and go option, but there are a couple of tables inside. Service was also great, the woman who I am assuming is the owner was super friendly.
