This is one of my favorite local pizza places. The people are always extremely nice and the building is clean and well maintained. What I really enjoy is the pizza and the fact it's one of the few places that has good selection I can purchase by the slice. I would put the pizza here up against any pizzeria in Denver. Johnny's is a NY style pizza place in Lakewood. They have been in business for nearly 20 years! They are located right off South Wadsworth.Pretty sure the wife and I planned to cook, but pizza delivery sounded right. I found Johnny's on DoorDash and cross referenced on Yelp. Anyone else do this? Haha. I'm a firm believer even the worst of pizzas still satisfies the pizza craving, and Johnny's certainly filled us up.They have some serious branding on their pizza boxes, not the stereotypical cardboard box. From what I remember, everything arrived on time and looked good. Taste wise, everything was average. I actually liked it more than my wife did, saying it got to a 6/10 on the pizza scale. Football pie that no one would complain about in a large setting, but certainly short of elite pizza.We also got knots, a cannoli and slice of cheesecake. All were just fine, nothing more nothing less. The most redeeming quality was the price point. Extremely affordable given the times were living in. Definitely wanted to touch on that, even though the food left more to be desired.Just an A-OK for now. Not running back, but maybe we had them on an off night considering the solid review ratings they have.

I have family in town and raved about this pizza. I called and said I needed a 7pm pickup, which I did. The pizza was so cold we had to microwave it which made it hard. Sub par dinner at best.

My husband and I love this place!! Delicious and inexpensive pizza. You can tell the ingredients are super fresh. There is also a lot of parking. The staff are friendly---the people at the front desk typically look like they are high schoolers. The best part is that when they say you're pizza is gonna be ready in 20 mins they really mean it! We've never had to wait for our pizza ever when we ordered ahead of time. We continue to order with them over and over again.

RACIST establishment. I witnessed 5 Latinos come in AFTER me to place orders and they all were given food faster than me, speaking in Spanish with the cooks while It took almost 30 mins for a calzone. If you're not latin, they will serve you LAST. do not waste your money here
