The shrimp étouffée was delicious. We also had cornbread and garlic bread. The Taste of Nola was great and the best was the cocktail sauce. The Big Easy Catfish Po Boy was great but the bread is really thick. It was busy there. I did a to go order and I had to stay in the cashier line in order to pick it up even though I ordered it an hour ago. I'm thinking the bar should give out to go orders but it seemed like the bartender was also the cashier. Spacious area and lots of seating. The decor was all Mardi Gras/New Orleans. Great job on the food!

Excellent food. We tried the Taste of Nola. Shrimp, Catfish, Red Beans and Jambalaya. We also had the special fried chicken. All of it very tasty. You order at the counter, but we also had service checking on us. Looking forward to trying it again.

WORTH A TRIP. Looking for something a little different on Yelp. Cajun sounded good. Positive reviews. Clean. Nola jazz playing on the speakers. Order at the counter. Delivered to your table. Shared the Taste of Nola, and the fried chicken special. $49 including tip. No drinks Fried chicken special: fresh, hot, crunchy, with a kick. Yummy Fried shrimp: cooked just right seasoned. Med heat cocktail sauce. More yum. Jambalaya: ample serving , mild but flavorful. Heavy on the rice, it's filling. Chunks of chicken and sausage. Red beans and rice: traditional flavor and worth ordering Fried catfish. Meaty and tender. At least 2 more meals out of the leftovers. We live 30 minutes away. We will be back.

Came here for late lunch and it was pretty empty. I got the ultimate platter with catfish, shrimp and oysters with Cajun fries. I was a little concerned I don't love seasoned fries but they were not overly seasoned. One thing I really wish they would improve is the Tartar and CocktailSauces. The cocktail sauce was a little watery and the tartar was an odd like cream color and just didn't have the tartar flavor, I wish it had a touch more mayo in it. I love a good tartar which makes the meal and I just didn't love either sauce. Maybe next time I'll have to bring my own sauce.

I spent the end of last year loafing around, snowboarding and overdosing on hockey so I decided to treat myself today after my oil chance appointment. Fast forward to couple minutes shy of 1pm. There was still a good amount of people here. I was instantly greeted by the cashier. I immediately drew a blank because they were so nice and welcoming. Guess I was just ready ready for a ho hum greeting for the new year but this was the opposite.I had a couple questions which were answered quickly and cheerfully. I ended up ordering the full size gumbo, grabbed my number and sat down. The music fit the bill.... Classic New Orleans music you'd find on Bourbon Street and the vibrant attitude from everyone. My gumbo showed up within 4-5 minutes and even the person who brought was so upbeat too! Talk about infectious energy! The gumbo was hot, very excellent level of spice and rice neatly piled up on top. I requested for shrimp and only received about 3 small pieces. The uncharge was $3 so I will probably pass on that next time. Regardless, the gumbo hit the spot and has given me enough energy for the rest of the day!Love this place and I will surely be back! Time to try more stuff here! They have the makings of a legitimate restaurant but this is good for now.

Everything was excellent! I had the fried shrimp, oysters, and catfish along with an Abita Purple Haze beer.I also had the BEST Sazerac I've ever had "made with love" by the most upbeat and happy employee I've seen anywhere in quite a while! I asked her name to include in this review, but my feeble old mind didn't hold onto it!

Introduced a friend to this restaurant as we wanted to meet up after a long period of absence. We both decided on the Magnolia Catfish. I copied her as when she mentioned that looked good and I saw that it was crawfish etouffee with fried catfish, I had to have it. Side order of okra to round the meal off. The cashier was friendly and personable. Good attitude. And he placed out order together so the food would come out at the same time but split our payment. That's service! The place was chill and we conversed at normal voice levels as it wasn't loud in here. The only thing that doesn't make it a five star is the food is a little on the salty side for me. Not sure if that's because we're cutting down on salt in our food, or if the food is overly salty. But that won't stop us from coming here again.

Amazing Cajun food. I met Jessie 20+yrs ago when he was serving out of a food truck. Excited he has a side down restaurant, great family style service and a full bar. If you're wanting home cooked Nola comfort recipes, Jessie's is the place in Colorado!!! We will return as often as possible.

Great food every time! Jessie's has become a family favorite! A local restaurant with food that is hard to find outside of New Orleans! Gumbalya, catfish, red beans & rice. Worth the trip if you live outside of Parker. Be sure to try the fried okra and a hurricane!

The restaurant was spacious than I expected from the exterior. It has nice ambiance. The étouffée was good but I think the ultimate fried food platter would be for my next visit. We support new local biz.
