Jersey Mike's Subs

Was hungry the other day for lunch, happened to be on Broadway, so I pulled into the plaza and it was home to a Jersey Mike's Sub & a Five Guys. I am familiar with Five Guys, but NEVER, EVER, had a Jersey Mike's sub, even though I grew up in South Jersey. I decided to try out Jersey Mike's. I was in a JM about 14-15 years ago when they just opened. I lived in SoCal at the time & wasn't really impressed with them. Maybe things have changed, the large menu was above the sandwich stations & I also noticed that they added Cheesesteaks to the menu. I placed my order with what appeared to be the manager of the store. It was lunchtime and he was in the starting spot. I went with a Supreme or Super Sub, I'm not sure if the name, but the manager grabbed a fresh roll off the rack & sliced the meat as I ordered. The meat was fresh, and tasted great! I've NEVER been to a Subway(OK, 1 time when I lived in South Florida, but walked out when they started to microwave the meat) but I think some of the employees pointed out topping, sauces, etc, like I have been to a Subway, because I heard it's NOT like Subway. OK, so I'm from South Jersey, very close to Philly, so I've had every kind of roll or bread available, so how was the sub? Everything inside the sub was great, everything was fresh, lettuce, tomatoes, etc...but the roll came up short when comparing it to a North East roll. Why 4 stars? Well, the restaurant was a in need of a wipe down. It's lunch time, you have plenty of employees , make time every 15 minutes for someone to clean off the tables & wipe them down. I ate outside, as there were a couple tables outside & it was sunny and in the 70s, both tables were empty but the one I picked had some corn meal from the rolls on it, as well as a bit dirty. But sandwich wise, everything was fresh & fast, just taper your expectations if you're from the East Coast & wanted a real sub/hoagie roll...

This location is awful! The floors are filthy, the veggie station was dirty, and the staff is rude. I walked in and immediately asked what do you want. Not hello or how are you, just what do you want. I told the guy cooking, he proceeded to get out the bread and right away sneeze twice. He didn't stop to wash his hands or get a different piece of bread, just kept cooking. I threw the sandwich away after getting it, I couldn't take how dirty the place was, and right where he was cooking. Do not eat here.

The sandwich, #13 Mike' Way with pepper relish was great! The person checking me out was super friendly and considerate. The restaurant was clean. The guy slicing the meat was kind of snarky. That is why I dropped a star.

We had never been to Jersey Mikes until we received a gift card there last year. It has quickly become our favorite place to order from. The Italian Sub on Rosemary cheese bread is my go to and my only complaint is that sometimes it has too much sandwich juice on it. I always order ahead through DoorDash for pickup. By the time I get there, it's ready to go. Never had an issue with my order being incorrect and the staff is always friendly. It has replaced Jimmy John's as our quick go-to dinner

I had started a review for this place probably a month or two ago. I was so impressed with our first visit, I gave them 5 stars. But figured I would go again to ensure it was consistent. Well I have been there probably 5 or 6 times and am still loving it. It is now my favorite sandwich place .We happened to stop by here just to try it out. My favorite is their #5 awesome Super Italian hoagie. Love that the meats are sliced for your sandwich as part of your order. Also love the high stacked sandwich with the meats, cheese and lettuce, tomato, onions and Mike's sauce (oil and vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper). Soo soo good! The bread is not thick and heavy but just right. Everything about it is just so heavenly!

Just went and got a sandwich and they gave me a rock hard brick for bread very annoyed

I have picked up numerous times from this location and the last few times have been atrocious. Orders not followed on pick up order (it's written on the instructions, pretty clear) regularly. They need to hire some more competent people to work at this location. Not coming back.

I love this jersey mikes!! They are so pleasant to deal with and the food is always great!!

Loved Jersey Mike's in Cali. Problem Colorado not same experience.I find it to be a okay sandwich the prices are thru the roof now.I get the cost of supplies now, but care about making the best sandwich you can if you're going to charge premium prices. It's a sub shop with few tables.

Service was great, my brother is gluten free and he got served with great care. The people running the line were energetic and friendly. Food was amazing, thanks guys!
