We just went there and we were blessed with sitting down with the general manager and learning all about hops and drops. We did a full review on South Denver food Facebook page, and was completely blown away by the quality of the food, the service, and it is a very nice layout. Give it a try for something a little different than most of the other chain restaurants that you might go to.

Lots of seating, a friendly staff, and food that came out almost as fast as we ordered it. The food was remarkably average, and extremely overpriced. The menu while decent sized offers a pretty limited amount of variety. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting with lots of space both booths and high tops.

Came here for happy hour on a Tuesday afternoon. Place was completely empty but music still cranked super loud. Good drink specials and happy hour food (more snacks). Queso dip was extremely tasty although very few chips with it. Interested to come back for the full menu. Would say this is standard bar food from initial impression.

We decided to try this place after seeing a few reviews - although a little hesitant because of the variety of choices on the menu. Admittedly, we were not too hungry but some of the appetizers sounded delicious and figured they would be a safe bet.The hostess seated us right away. I wished I had worn long sleeves - it was a little chilly in the restaurant. We saw a few other patrons wearing a light coat.I ordered a wheat beer, my lunch companion asked what light beers were available. The waitress had a difficult time reading the names on the taps, suggesting we scan the QR code for the complete list.The taquitos were delicious. The smoked pork rib tips, not so much - a bit tough, with quite a bit of fat and some gristle. The beers were refreshing. It is difficult to say if the "lunch" was worth $50 - maybe if the rib tips had more flavor, less fat. Maybe go for the beers at least - will have to try the hamburgers if we decide to go back.

We've stopped in twice now. This is in a good location and it's easy to get to. They have a good happy hour- the chipotle flatbread is delicious, the wings are good. The boneless wings are odd- they're essentially strips from a chicken breast that have been breaded. Still good just a little different than the normal offering. They have good happy hour drinks and food specials. It's quite loud, so don't go here for a date night, but if you've got kids and don't want to worry about keeping them quiets or coming for a game it's a good spot. They've also got lots of tvs and a good bar. The dirty martinis are spot on! Also I love that they don't serve tiny portions for happy hour.

My wife an I went for lunch around 2:30 in the afternoon. First impressions, inviting and comfortable. Talin greeted us and was easy going and laid back, but attentive and professional. We had a pretzel and cheese and it was so perfectly hot and delicious. My wife had two margaritas that were tasty and my wheat beer was super cold and went down fast. Our food was so good! My Black and blue burger was the best I've had in years. My wife loved her BLTA. Even the music was great playing classic rock and 90 rock. We thought this place was top notch. We will be back! Kudos to the owner and staff!

Fish tacos - ok. Not getting the cheese/fish pairing though.Beer selection - limited for a place with hops in their name. Good crowd for a Thursday at 5. Probably due to happy hour. Service - good.Smoked pork rib tips - probably one of the worst things I've ever ordered in a restaurant. Tasted fine, but cutting it across the bones is one of the most boneheaded things you can do in a restaurant. Pretty sure the bbq sauce was KC Masterpiece or Sweet Baby Ray's.Prices - fine for happy hour, but outrageous if you come after 6.Icy drop - gotta give 'em points for this one. A+ for presentation in the ice glass. Drink was foofoo, but tasted good. Good way to end the meal.

Great that HR now has another bar, and it's in a location where there weren't too many options before. I think thought they needed to step up on the food a little bit. My chicken sandwich was not great, the chicken was a little undercooked (under fried) and even if it was fully cooked, the sandwich was still just "so so". I came here for lunch, it would be interesting to see how this place looks like in the evening or when there's a game on tv - I wonder if this will be a good place to watch a game.I'll come here again and see if I can update my review.

So here's the deal. I've never made a yelp review. This will be my first, but after my wife and i's experience, I think it's warranted. I took my wife here recently after a church service. When we walked in we were promptly seated and served. The service? Not bad at all. We were well taken care of in that department. However, the food on the other hand was problematic. I can't speak for the rest of the week, but something was horribly wrong on Sunday. I got the smash burger which to be fair, was a bit undercooked and still had gooey, undercooked chuck in the middle of the burger, but that generally doesn't affect me. My wife had the chicken tenders, which she said were pretty great as well. Why the 2 stars you may ask? Well... approximately 32 minutes after eating , and while driving home, my wife & I both got an intestinal gut wrenching twist in our stomachs. The fear set in that we may literally crap our pants in the car. Luckily my wife was able to jump out and run into our apartment before tragedy struck. It would be one thing if we both had burgers, but she had poultry and I had beef, and both of us had an intestinal exorcism.All in all? I'm sure this establishment has seen its ups and downs, but beware of the kitchen on Sunday. Something went horribly wrong.
