Honnibrook Craft Meadery

Such a fun place to enjoy craft meadery (read: any cider you choose will be and was delicious). Honnibrook was a little bit of a drive for us, but so much fun and worth every mile. We stopped in as one of our favorite local artists, Josh Blackburn, was playing. He plays here every month and is always a great time. If you haven't heard his music, look him up. He does covers and has his own originals that we've fallen in love with. Honnibrook hosts him once a month and when it's warmer, they have massive garage doors that come up and spill onto the outside patio area. Let's talk meadery. Oh my word. This, my friends, is easy drinking. Be careful! We loved everything we ordered and took home a few bottles we didn't even try - because like I said, it was all so good! My favorites were the Cherry Limeade slushy, the Huckleberry slushy and the Peach Habanaro mead. My guy really liked the Lychee and Raspberry Chipotle. Nothing too spciy and all the flavors were nicely balanced. We will def be back!

While in Colorado recently, touring the breweries we stumbled across this little meadery in Castle Rock and it was such a great find. Large selection of brew, friendly and informative staff and the atmosphere was chill and inviting! We ordered a flight of 8 for $24 and as you can see from the pics, was an absolute steal! My favorites were the Natural Beauty and Earl Grey Lavender although they were all yummy P.S. They also have a selection of cards and board games to inspire some playful entertainment and host special events often so be sure to follow them on IG!!

Updating my review... STILL FLIPPING AWESOME AND I LOVE THE PLACE! Yelp is making me do at least 85 characters, so I'll say that I also like the new signage.

A little unsure of what laid ahead of us, we stopped in this afternoon to explore the world of mead. First, the woman (manager? Owner?) who served us was wonderful. She was both informative and extremely helpful. She started us with the base flavor (extract?) of mead, which was kind of similar to a Pinot gris or Sauvignon blanc. From there, we named off several flavors that sounded interesting to us, and she prepared an eight-flavor flight for us to try. Along the way, we each found our favorite, and for the few none of us cared for, she voluntarily replaced them with other options for us to try. Located in a warehouse park, Honnibrook is a little different from your typical brewery or winery, and it has a unique vibe all its own. However, it's got its place in Castle Rock. We could certainly see returning when in the mood for more mead.

I will say me and my lady had a great time and the mead was really good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A coworker and I visited and both agreed the mead was excellent. Very friendly staff also. After the tasting we bought several bottles to take home and share with friends. See you again soon!

I decided to surprise my wife with a trip down to Castle Rock and a visit to this little gem of an establishment after work on a Friday. The place was packed with happy people enjoying the end of the work week. Though we've made a lot of mead over the years, we had never experienced what Honnibrook offers - a base, beer-strength fermented honey beverage infused with a variety of fruits, spices and other flavors. I got the prickly pear mead first, then went with the base unflavored mead for my second glass. My wife had a taster flight - my sip of her coffee-infused mead was amazing!Owner D.J. took great care to explain what was being offered, and made us feel welcome from the moment of our arrival. The entire staff was excellent and courteous. We will happily return to this fine establishment in the future.

This is actually a craft meadery! I discovered it on tap at 105West Brewery. What an amazing find! I have celiac and can't drink beer. Mead is naturally gluten free. I came directly to the meadery for some mead directly from the tap. Amazing! So good! Great flavors, lightly carbonated and fresh! I can't believe I've never been here! I highly recommend! I wish I found this sooner!

Cute little place in Castlerock! They have an upstairs area and outdoor area when it is nice in addition to the main floor. Love the selection of mead here. We tried almost every one and with the nice selection you will find several that you will like. Sweet to dry and also had the slushies this summer so there is something for everyone. Staff is super welcoming and nice! No food here but you can order from surrounding places or bring your own food, which is what we did.

Awesome selection of great drinks will for sure return. Hidden but not hard to find if your good with directions
