I was introduced to Honey Basil Express from a Yelp Elite Week and had the best time. Talk about a heavy and satisfying meal. They were veryyy generous and I even had to stop the staff from putting more into the plate because it was way too much food for me. This second time around was just as good and I had to basically waddle out of the restaurant after eating my food. I had ordered the plate which comes with two mains and a side. I also got my hands on a Lychee CHI sparkling water. I love how their drinks aren't a crazy upcharge. I think their fried rice (and everything I've ever gotten) has been 1000% better than any other take out Chinese fast food in Colorado. And the prices are on point. My favorite mains so far are the buddah mix which mimics my go to fried tofu stir fry from Panda Express in Hawaii. Plus the mapo tofu. The pork is perfectly seasoned and the tofu is so silky smooth. Great on top of that amazing fried rice. I will make the drive to get take out whenever I'm craving actually good Chinese fast casual food.

Elite Liven it UP!Very Quaint and Lovey place, Chris my server and absolutely knowledgeable for the Yelp Elite people, she explained every item in detail and the entire menu which was offer to everyone. The place is clean, easy access, LOTS of parking albeit might be full during certain time. The variety of food offered from meats - seafood and vegetarian is impressive, plus rices, different egg rolls and puffed crab and more. All to fit all palates, singular vegetarian and veganA lovely smaller place to meet up, I was truly impressed with the cleanliness, and service. Drinks in two different sections to apease many tastes.Honey Basil is in a small shopping center on Arapahoe East of 1-25 on the North side, across from Target and coffee shops.Photos were tangled up on cell/google, Please do try this lovely place, great food, fantastic choices, and service is optimum

Disclaimer: I was able to try a 2-item combination plate thru a Yelp Elite offering. This wasn't a special event though; just a regular day where I was able to pop in and grab some food.A pretty standard Chinese fast food place that is reminiscent of the ones that used to be all over SF and LA in California. I thought it was less greasy than Panda Express, and I like that I was able to sample different items before choosing what I wanted in my meal. I could see myself coming here to pick up some food for a movie night at home or buying a party tray for catering or a potluck.Lo mein was standard. I really enjoyed the orange beef. Kung pao chicken is different from other places; it was less saucy and not really spicy. They do small/medium batch cooking, which I assume is to maintain freshness no matter what time you come in. Portions were great and everything reheated in the microwave pretty well. They opened in August 2024, and I hope business picks up for them. Their quality is great, restaurant is clean, plentiful parking in the plaza, and nice staff. Cindy was super nice and helpful, especially during my first time here.

Elite perk and thank you! Coldest day of 2025 and am here checking out the place. On my last improtu visit, I had chance to talk to one of the staff and I feel this place is better than Panda Express. For the Elite perk, I had two item combo. The super nice front lady recommended two favorites but ended up with green beens instead of protein and got two bowls of hot and sour soup too. She kept loading up and had to stop her. This one only has tofu, no meat. Big plus for my hot date. I prefer softer lo mein than Panda Express version. The fried rice I got looks very legit. This will ve my go to location for my dinner needs from now on.

Yelp Elite event did not disappoint! I just moved here from the Bay Area and have been struggling to find great Asian cuisine. Enter Honey Basil Express. Totally worth the trek across town (providing the roads are safe), and Cindy was so hospitable in letting me try some entree samples before I made my final decision.Went with her recommended Mapo Tofu and Szechuan Chicken. Very hearty, and she also allowed me to choose 2 bases. Had steamed broccoli and lo mein noodles. Very filling at a great price point, and I will def have leftovers for 2 or 3 more meals!

I recently discovered this restaurant through a Yelp elite eeek hosted by the Yelp Colorado CM! After relocating back to the area from the Bay Area, where there are tons of lovely variety of array Asian cuisines I was hoping to find some great places here. Honey Basil Express was a great find! I came back outside of the Yelp elite and the service both times was fast, friendly and food was hot and fresh! It also didn't taste too greasy but light and delightful! The fried rice, sesame chicken (which is their version of the orange chicken) and beef with broccoli. All delicious... the beef with broccoli was a dollar upcharge but pricing is affordable. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating if you wanted to dine in. The parking lot tends to be always full. A great place to try out!

Big Yes for the service, and the ingredients were fresh. There is only one entree dish that's vegetarian, so my options were limited.I was happy to give it a try. Thanks Yelp!

Definitely a new go-to for Chinese take-out! The family is very kind and patient, and offers the chance to sample anything. We tried the Szechuan chicken- instant hit! I also got the string beans- DO NOT SLEEP ON THESE!!!! GET THEM and thank me later. Garlicky, but still got the crunch, and pure chefs kiss!We came for Yelp Elite week- but my also brought our families. Great choice.Love that they allow so much flexibility- you can split your base (I had half Lo mean, half broccoli) and split entrees, too. Can't wait to come back.

Friendly service, massive servings, clean environment. Tip: the Jarritos are not twist off, but they have a bottle opener at the counter. The ingredients look fresh and the flavor is pretty good, but my kung pao chicken had some less-than stellar pieces of meat in it. Almost like they're trying to use ALL of the meat, not being picky about connective tissue, etc. Overall: not bad.
