Discovered Denny's is closed and came to Holiday for breakfast. Simple two eggs, bacon toast cooked perfectly and served promptly. The price is surprisingly low. Couldn't have had a more efficient and friendly server. If you don't mind the sounds of a bowling alley (I bowl) then you should definitely try Holiday Lanes.

I grew up eating at the restaurant here and always loved the food. For a greasy spoon, the food is quality and reasonably priced. They also offer drink specials and the service is always friendly. I just recently started bowling, as my husband does league, and the lanes are kept up very well. I appreciate the policy of no food and drink near the lanes, but the designated carpeted area is still close enough if you're bowling and having lunch at the same time. I have tried bowling other places where the tables are jammed up really close to one another, and the lanes themselves. Then you end up slipping in someone's beer or track grease all over from fries on the ground. This establishment is professional but also a really great time!

Stan on the pool hall side is the BEST bartender! He always knows what drink we want before we even ask for it. Very friendly and an overall great guy. We look forward to pool every week just to see Stan!

Honestly have not felt so belittled, judged and publicly embarrassed like this before. To start off the tone the workers had an attitude right away. Place was dirty, their ball selection was none existent until a person next to us said we had to get the lighter balls up front. So we get them and the lady was hostile and stern when saying we need to bring the lighter balls back at the end of the game. At the bar my friend and I wanted to get a drink, I had my ID and she had her colorado app which was rejected. Which makes no sense that I can get into any establishment in downtown denver with a colorado app but not a bowling alley? My drink later on then accidentally spills I get towels to clean it up myself and then people come rushing over and made into a big scene. We get yelled at for having drinks where we were sitting and that we are suppose to have them on the brick wall way behind us which they never told us that. And also makes no sense because why would I want to leave my drink unattended behind me for it to possibly get roofied. We then also later on get yelled at for my boyfriend using one of the lighter balls??? Because he's a "boy and boys throw them faster" My boyfriend and I are pretty much the same weight of 128 pounds and he's just slightly taller so make it make sense. After all this the staff is so clearly talking smack about us in a circle and they are way too old to be acting like that. So at this point I just feel super uncomfortable have never had an experience like this before so I just wanted to leave so I go up to the staff and I'm still being super friendly and just ask if we could refund the last game because we just want to leave and don't want to stay for the second game and just finish the one we are on. I try to hand her my card to put it back in there and the lady proceeds to just pull cash out of the register and in a very hostile way toss me the cash. So def don't recommend unless you wanna have a terrible night.

They have the WORST bartender on the pool hall side. Stan is the worst. Never behind the bar when you need something, always out smoking. And to think if you order food, he is bringing your food to your table with cigarette smell on his hands. Worst service ever, worst bartender ever. Find another place to play pool. You will have more fun. Trust me. Make sure if you do go eat there, I suggest you don't when Stan is there. If you do, make sure you ask for a ticket. We had friends that took their son and ordered different foods, fries, pizza, and soda, and I think 2 beers he over charged them thinking they wouldn't notice because we sat there for a while. He doesn't give out food tickets or anything he just rattles off a dollar amount of what he wants, and I guess he thinks the amount over is a tip, including the tip you give him. Personally Stan doesn't deserve tip at all. STAN is a lousy server/bartender if that's what you can call him.

This bowling alley is amazing! Here is one of the coolest old-school bowling alleys in the city that still holds tournaments on a regular basis. Be sure to call before you head in to make sure the lanes are free. Pinball and beer and bowling in an environment that needs to be preserved. Go!!

You cannot play pool here. They have closed the billiard tables permanently. Bowling alley is old. Folks seem to like the food. Didn't eat here.

I could leave 0 stars if I could. They don't have ANY sign displaying the no colorado app accepted. I have been 21 for quite a while and I forgot my ID one night when i just wanted to bowl with friends. They said they didn't accept the app and after explaining that even TSA accepts the app now, they refused service to me and all my friends even the once who had real copies of their IDs. This is fucking rediculous considering I have used my online app for YEARS even at the airport where identity matters the most. The bartender was extremely rude to me and my friends and the service was overall horrible. Don't come here if you want respectful easy service.
