Heidi's Brooklyn Deli

There used to be several location in Denver back in the day and when we saw this on a venture out we had to stop! I daydream about the egg salad Sammy and it was just how I remembered! Soft white bread, delish egg salad and fresh veggies- sooo yummy!! Service was friendly and ambiance was chill. I was too excited o didn't get a pic of the food!

Great place for a quality sandwich. I enjoyed the half sandwich and soup. Wedding ball soup. Pretty good. Needed a little salt. Half pastrami sandwich on homemade marbled rye. The bread was amazing! Good quality pastrami. I chose Swiss cheese and it was heated up. my only issue was way too much mustard. Maybe I should've stressed that point. The dish came with a choice of potato salad, coleslaw, or chips. Homemade potato salad so I went for it. Red skin potatoes with a lot of mayonnaise. No pickles or onions. Some people like that. It essentially good .The service was quick and attentive. Very friendly and helpful when I had questions. Bright spot with clean restrooms. I would definitely go back. They have many choices of delicious looking items.

New staff, super fast and kind! Major improvement over a few years ago. Cajun turkey sandwich was great.

I have been to Heidi's Deli a few times over the years and find that every time I got it ranges from acceptable to pretty good.Here are something's that I have seen other reviewers comment on and I hope this one review will be try to clear up some of the quirks of this overall, non-threatening and basic little sandwich shop.First, if they are busy...you are going to wait for your sandwich. The people don't make things quickly here, they try to compose the sandwiches correctly. Some people go faster than others but they have max two people working and not a lot of counter space to prepare. If you see two people waiting your wait will probably be around 15 minutes to get your sandwich.Next, they offer lettuce, tomato, and onion on every regular sandwich. If you don't want it say you don't want it or just tell them what you want. They are still going to ask. This is a point they need to hit and are food service workers, just be nice.Next, their sides are small. Any side choice you get with your sandwich is going to be tiny. This is for sure worth a lower rating on my review but once again, just know this going in. It even feels like somehow the bag of Lays they offer as a choice is smaller than a normal single serving bag of Lays original.Like I said, I have been coming here for years off and on when the mood strikes. The food quality has stayed the same. If this is a concern for you seeing the pretty low rating. The rating is 100% based around serving speeds and portion sizes.I normally get the Hell's Kitchen or the Chicken Salad with Cajun sauce. I have also gotten the Italian before. They are all pretty good. On this trip I got the Hell's Kitchen and it was made perfectly. I went pretty early in the day so no one was waiting and my and my wife's food got made pretty quickly. My wife got the Hell's Kitchen breakfast sandwich.This is a basic sandwich place with some tasty combinations. Don't expect a gourmet sandwich (go to Moxie) or a real deli vibe (Broomfield doesn't really have this but Deli Zone down the road is probably a better option for authentic deli flavor).

I placed an uber eats order for two sandwiches. It was not a special order. It was on their menu. They did not have the ingredients for one of the sandwiches. I did not want a substitute. I was polite but I did not want another sandwich. And instead of calling me to let me know the sandwich was not available they wanted to insist instead that I pick a different sandwich leaving the poor Uber guy stuck in the middle. Then, instead of apologizing I had a nasty guy telling me to never call there again to place an order. No problem jerk.

Rosemary made my sandwich, the Hell's Kitchen, which I ordered through a delivery service. I always hold my breath when I do this, because you never know what you're gonna get, usually I'm very disappointed.This time was a great surprise. Not only was the sandwich fresh and delicious, it was obviously made with care! Even the wrapping looked like origami. Great job!

This place is a total disaster. One clearly untrained kid was running the store by himself. After waiting nearly thirty minutes to place our order, the sandwich and wrap we received were dry and tasteless. The turkey wrap consisted of about an ounce of turkey, a few slices of red onion, and some lettuce. We were charged $55 for a half a turkey wrap, a vegetarian sandwich and two iced teas. After having to convince the employee that this amount was obviously wrong, he recalculated it to $37, still too much for the terrible sandwiches. When I got home and checked my credit card, I saw that I had been charged a total of $92. So, he charged me $37 in ADDITION to $55! Stay away from this store.

Order the "famous breakfast sandwich" had no sauce it was just some pre-made eggs ham - literally nothing special

Odd ambiance and like 2 teenagers working here - 1 of which who was unsure how to make any of the sandwiches. They were nice and I don't blame the fact places like this probably pay minimum wage so why make quality food - but this Heidi's has gotten significantly worse over the years and it's in the more expensive side of sandies. We have felt sort of sick all day after eating here. Avocado skin scraps left in the wrapper btw. Not made with love or care. Just not good :/

Amazing food and customer service. Very friendly owner with a sense of pride in his work that is hard to come by these days. Smells like heaven when you walk in. Very large sandwiches as well.
