What a fun experience to walk into a place with an entire wall of different instant ramen selections. True to its Korean name, Hangang features all korean brands, many of which you don't ever see on the shelves at hmart. Not only do you get to choose and cook your own ramen in store, but they provide an entire fridge of toppings. Raw meat isn't available, but you get kimchi, spam, fishcake, and raw eggs, etc. Honestly cracking a fresh raw egg is really all you need. The whole process is incredibly simple, with step by step instructions on the wall. The end product looked something out of a Korean kdrama scene that had many of my friends drooling over my instagram story. #336

I've seen a lot of videos about places like this so I was excited to find there was one close to me! The kids really enjoyed the going to this place since it's so different and they love ramen. Will definitely be taking any out of town guests there. The Pros:-unique dining experience -friendly staff -cleanliness of the place -K-pop music videos streaming on a big screenThe Cons:-the price isn't sustainable for repeat customers...especially most Asians who can just make it at home.-the selection was wide but I would prefer more Japanese ramen flavors even though I know it's a Korean ramen spot.

It's expensive for what it is, but it's a fun experience. The seating area is very limited, so be prepared to share a table with others. It's a self service instant ramen station where you pick out toppings and cook it yourself the way you would at a Korean convenience store. The big caveat is that in Korea, it would be a cheap, fast meal. At Hangang, they offer some ramen that we can't buy here (even at Asian grocery stores). The prices for our bowls of instant ramen were around $15/person.

Really good idea! The inside was cute and felt like a Korean convenience store. The staff were really nice and helpful. There were tons of options and lots of fun drinks as well. It is pretty pricey for packaged ramen especially because you are making it yourself. The toppings add up so be careful! It was a fun experience although I'm not sure I can justify the price.

The best place and a fun experience for the instant noodle lover or anyone who has wanted to try the convenience store instant noodle set ups you see in Korea. You make your own bowl of instant ramen and can add a variety of toppings that are free to $1.50/topping from their freezer. They also have signs up by their ramen making machines showing you how to cook everything, making it easy for guests. I think the most overwhelming thing is choosing what ramen you want from their big wall of options! Also available are a variety of korean drinks, including the bags with drinks you can pour over ice, and some frozen kimbap and ice cream. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Parking is easy as this strip mall has a pretty big parking lot.

My toddler and I really enjoyed this experience. It's nice to show up and have lunch ready in a flash with all the toppings and easy clean up. Your teens and ramen lovers will love going here. The owners are so helpful and kind! Also we had some Korean popsicle I've never tried before and been trying to find it at hmart since then lol.

Fun experience but the price is ridiculous. I'd recommend going to the H-Mart and buying your toppings and ramen there. I still can't believe how much money I just spent on a bowl of ramen.

9/18/24- A cute little place that it is easy to miss. You get to pick your own soup and add toppings to make it fully customizable. Some toppings are free and they go up to $1.50 a piece. They have a sign on the wall to guide you on how to use the machines, but the staff were more then willing to help. The only thing I would say they could improve on is clearly separating the regular soups from the premium soups. They were mixed together and not labeled. I will be adding this place to my regular haunt list. They even have a little claw machine you can play.

Really annoyed with this place !! We love coming here to make our ramens and try new kinds. This time I brought my bf as well as my boys. We spent over $100 on lunch then bought a few extra drinks to go. My kiddos dropped $30 in the claw machine. As we were cleaning up my ramune wasn't cold I went to grab a glass of ice. Dude stops me and says it's $1. I'm like wait? I just dropped over $100 and I can't have a cup of ice for my drinks? The drinks alone were $25 but you want me to pay for ice now?' Ya'll not going far treating customers like this. I can get a whole bag of ice for $1 at McDonald's. I can see charging for ice if that's all I asked for no drinks etc but nawww bro. Not paying you $1 for ice.

This place was adorable. Very welcoming and friendly staff. A little pricey but I think worth it. My kids loved it. The pomegranate-ade and mango ice cream was SO good.
