Great place, great drinks, great food. Except for the ribs last night, I really should have said something to the staff about them. They were way over cooked, to the point were they were closer to jerky than anything else. Shouldn't have even been served. Last time they were fantastic. Had fish and chips which were awesome, what ever the batter they use was delicious. Chowder is really good too. Had the char-grilled oysters last time as well, very much enjoyed them too.

Decent smokehouse out near DIA. Fun to sit at the bar with views of the gof course. Limited craft beers on tap and pretty good cocktail menu. Tried the 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs. The brisket was 70 % fat with very little meat and I was very disappointed. The ribs were not even close to fall off the bone but more like tug off the bone. Great side of baked sweet potato with cinnamon butter. Club house feel and lots of room. Might go back and try some other food options.

The Smokehouse & oyster house sits on the golf course! It's a great spot on the patio. Our service was ok and the food was pretty good. I'd suggest the $3 Taco Tuesday special!

I want to be clear that this two star rating is not for the service which has consistently been kind but for the product of that service, which continues to be inconsistent and subpar at best. With the limited options in Green Valley Ranch, this is now my fourth visit to this restaurant where I keep hoping The food and beverages will be better, but I have once again and disappointed- Side order of fries: I placed an order for sweet potato fries, however what arrived looked like what you leave at the table when you've eaten too much and just unable to finish. To ensure this was intentional, I placed an order of regular fries and that showed up as an oddly small order similar to the first. I could blame the container that it showed up in but truly that is an average size holder for fries at any restaurant I have been to. It is unfortunate at that price point and at the caliber of restaurant that something as seemingly low price to produce that the order could not be doubled for their regular service. - Unappetizing green beer: this has nothing to do with the beer being green (for St. Patrick's Day). In fact, I have had many a green beer at places from hole in the wall Pubs to high end, tap rooms, unfortunately the green coloring this location seems to be using leaves an unfortunate film of flakes at the top or it is not being mixed in correctly. Either way, for a themed celebration, I would advise them to stay away from the green beer if it cannot be done in a more appetizing manner. - Room temperature, Irish coffee: following the theme of the day, I proceeded to order an Irish coffee which showed up room temperature at best. I indicated that to the staff who kindly went ahead, and I believed, warmed it up, instead of potentially remaking it again, perhaps nothing wrong with that, however, if you are providing a themed drink, like an Irish coffee for a special day that you are promoting, it is probably best to be prepared to serve it right or to not serve it at all.

Brisket shouldn't look like pot roast. Basically no smoke at all...oven baked is a better description. Rest of the meals were dry and needed seasoning. Coleslaw was just shredded cabbage zero flavor. Service was fine, but no one goes out for service.

Not a huge fan. I ordered from door dash. I got a two meat plate with brisket and turkey, it came with a small cornbread and 2 sides... I chose baked beans and collard greens and added i added a side of onion rings and a baked sweet potato. The brisket was completely unseasoned, and I mean no salt or pepper, but it did have a nice tender texture. I ordered barbecue sauce but they missed that in my order. The turkey was definitely a processed turkey that they sliced off of. The collard greens weren't bad, cooked well but unseasoned so I had to add my own hot sauce to get through them. The baked beans were pretty good, edible but nothing to rave about. The small piece of cornbread was dry and when I say small, I mean tiny! I did like the onion rings, and I think it was a good portion size. My baked sweet potato was good but I don't think it had any seasoning, it did come with a sweet maple butter, but that didn't add much for some reason. The potato itself was a huge potato, so it was a good portion size as well. Overall, I think if you're not a foodie and you're just hungry, it's a good place to go but if you're looking for something that's going to bring you back for more, this probably won't be the place.

I want to be VERY clear that stars are ONLY for our bartender, because he was nice, kind, and polite. The grits were disgusting, tasted like water and grits. I make grits at home, weekly. I did not know how truly terrible they could be. Waffle House grits are amazing compared to these! The fried green tomatoes were completely mushy inside , but the outside was crunchy. The Irish coffee was stomach churning, and biscuits were hard as a rock. I do NOT know how this place got all the good reviews for " Southern cooking" because from what these things tasted like I cannot imagine what the greens would take like, and the mac and cheese looked like a big stuck together lump. I make my own homemade greens and will obviously continue to after today's experience. I cannot fathom coming here for another meal. This is our 3rd try with this place, and most likely the last. C'mon, how do you mess up Irish coffee???

Interior is nicely decorated. Nice gray tones. It has a casual vibe. Our waitress Mikalia was very pleasant and attentive (she looks like Ellen Page before the transition). The sausage sliders are delicious. I tasted one and ate two before I realized I forgot to take pics. I meant to save one to take home but I couldn't stop eating them. I also odered "wings & Frings" cause I'm greedy like that. It came with onion rings, fries & wings. Some of the wings were a little on the dry side, but I hooked them up by mixing the sweet n tangy bbq sauce with the smokin pit hot bbq sauce, yummy. The fries & onion rings were good but I prefer the fries xtra crispy. Next time I will be sure to ask them for xtra crispy. Hubby ordered the "Two meat combo, sausage, pulled pork, with mac n cheese & grits. My neanderthal husband enjoyed his meal, he said it was "medium, nothing great and nothing bad". I tasted the cheese grits... nothing exciting, kind of on the bland side. I also tasted the mac n cheese...remeniscent of hmm... school lunches? Wasn't feeling it at all. Overall a good meal. If I am in the neighborhood again I wouldn't hesitate to eat here. Hubby says the restroom was very clean.
