Gorditas Doña Juana

I've been in search of gorditas nearby for a while and was happy when I stumbled across this place. Unfortunately as much as I wanted to like it, I didn't. I stopped by around noon on a Wednesday was greeted by a pretty empty restaurant. The place itself is very large and clean, but crazy loud with competing music coming from the kitchen and dining area. I ordered a chorizo con papa and deshebrada gorditas to go. Both were pretty bland unfortunately. The salsa on the side looked good, but lacked spice and salt. The gordita itself was dry and chewy. I did notice when ordering that they had a stack of cooked gorditas sitting out. Pretty sure that's why mine were dry and chewy. Super sad this didn't fit the bill. Onto to the next one!

These might be my favorite gorditas I've even had. They started us out with some fluffy and delicious Chicharrones with perfectly spiced salsa. Great service too.

Im bout to get real gordo eating these gorditas. Was delicious. They even were nice to the gringo. The salsa seemed fresh and handmade.

This place is amazing, the gordita are fresh and made by hand. The staff is super kind and friendly. Highly recommend! Make sure to bring cash
