We love the Gondolier! The marinara sauce has some mild heat, it's delicious! Their homemade pasta is always wonderful too. The yummy garlic knots are soft on the inside and garlic buttery on the outside. Everything we've gotten there has been flavorful from the ravioli to calzones! If you ever need a family meal, they offer a package of salad, pasta, sauce and garlic knots for a very reasonable price. You just need to pick it up as take out. We've done this many times and usually have leftovers!

I loved the decor! It was a fresh take on the old school style of Italian restaurants. It had a great bar area and comfortable dining area. There is a good sized parking lot. The staff were very friendly and helped out with the menu. The food was very good, I loved the the pasta was homemade. I had the fettuccine alfredo and it was delicious. I loved that the sauce wasn't as heavy as some alfredos. The minestrone soup was also very good. If you're in Longmont I suggest you give Gondolier a try.

I've heard mixed reviews about this place, but I finally got a chance to experience it for myself. The establishment is very clean & maintained, the staff was very friendly as well. I would score that a 5 stars, but service only goes so far. The food was very basic, near tasteless the pasta was overcooked with no flavor. The sausage I received was interesting, it was like a meatball very soft and mushy. I finished of the meal with a cheesecake, the slices are small for the price tag it was also had a bread like texture. The presentation and look of everything has potential, I think extra detail needs to be done in the kitchen to ensure a better experience.

If you want the most tasteless Italian in all the world, comehere. Noodles overcooked to mush.Cant taste the tomato in the pasta sauce.Cant taste the mushrooms in the mushroom ravioli.& if you can still taste the yeast in the undercooked dough, its a HELL NO. Gritty cheesecake & generic walmart brand icecream. What in the world. I haven't been to the Boulder location in years & when i would go it was absolutely delicious. If i ever have to go to this restaurant again, i will be avoiding Longmont location absolutely.

Hmmm, I struggled with this one and really wanted to give them 5 Stars. As of this visit, this is my review:The Good:- spacious atmosphere- good prices for Italian food- the broccoli was a nice surprise on my eggplant parm. Added to the value too.- everyone was pleasant- the pasta was tasty, I really like the this thicker noodles, and the sauce in the pasta was tasty too.- the homemade sausage was tasty!Areas for Improvement:- the eggplant was super greasy and a little overly fried. One way to help out the fried-ness could be adding more sauce and the same sauce they use for the pasta. That brings me to the eggplant sauce:- eggplant sauce seemed like just canned diced tomatoes layered on top. Not sure why they went this route since the pasta sauce was so good! There was also not much which lied to the overly burnt taste of eggplant.- Service: this is why I only gave them three stars. I came in after a blood plasma donation and decided to stop here to eat. My original server came by and I didn't know what I wanted yet, so he went away, which was fine. Eventually the bar tender came by and took my order. They were both nice. The issue is, nobody came back after my food was dropped off. I wanted to order a side of sauce and some bread but I was left alone. This made the experience crappy. Not sure if this is normal but it sucked being ignored. Woe is me! - Lack of bread or modified orders for garlic. I would have loved some garlic bread but only one size was offer at $5-6 dollars and was more made for two or more people. I would have ordered a half size but that option wasn't available. This is good place for two or more people and perhaps not for the single diner looking to get the same type of service. This is also a great place for families because of the prices. I was impressed that they are able to keep prices a little lower than usual places.

We ordered Chicken Marsala and Lasagna along with garlic bread. The Marsala was divine! Served over spaghetti (I'm pretty sure it's home made pasta!) and the portions were huge! I'm sure I was only able to eat 1/4 of f the pasta and half of the chicken My hubbys lasagna was really good ! Filled with a lot of neat snd ricotta, covered with sauce ... also a very big portion! The decor is really nice. I loved the old window pane in the entry, it's beautiful! We had good service and were happy we stopped in tonight on our way home

Inconsistent food quality. Ive been coming here or ordering out for years. Gondolier can be really good (not excellent) or can be so bad as to be inedible. You've got a 50/50 chance at good/bad in my experience. I've never had Pesto so bland, fresh pasta so tasteless and the worst meatballs I ever had that tasted from frozen and processed. They've lost me for good after this last poor effort on the part of The Gondolier's "chef"... .. the staff is usually nice, though.

Our family of nine was celebrating my wife's birthday. We have been frequenting the Gondolier for the past 35 years and have always loved the food and service. Our server was slow to take drink orders and appeared frustrated with some of the drink requests (modifications). Food orders were taken fairly promptly and delivered to the table within a reasonable time by staff. I might add the restaurant was not even half full given it was a Tuesday night. We did not see our server for over 20 minutes during dinner and finally had to flag down another server as several family members wanted drink refills. It was clear she was frustrated having to service our table again. Overall the food was great, but the service missed the high mark we have come to expect. I am only posting this here, since I DM the restaurant on fb Feb 5th, and to date no reply.

We finally ate at the Gondolier. I had the Tilapia with Carrot Risotto, my spouse had the Chicken Parmesan. After reading (mixed) reviews, we started with the highly recommended Garlic Knots-slightly crisp exterior and tender, flavorful interior-excellent dipped in the marinaraOur entrees were generous and cooked perfectly. Both the fish and the chicken were lightly breaded and fried to a perfect crunch. Each the tomato sauces had a unique delicious flavor. The staff was efficient and personable.

This was my second time dining here and I can not describe how much of a difference it was from my first experience. Ordered fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken and sautéed mushrooms there was no flavor of any kind after adding Parmesan cheese salt and pepper chicken was lukewarm. The two server's completely ignored me as I was trying to ask for a box and the check don't know what had changed from last year.
