Thank goodness we made reservations for dinner, because the restaurant was packed when we arrived. Not to mention, there was a line out the door, but we were seated right away. It took a little while for the server to stop by our table after being seated, and it wasn't very easy for us to flag him down when we were ready to order and pay the bill. Another staff member actually had to bring our bill because we had no idea where our server was. Not a great impression regarding service. Although I will say, the runners were great. As far as the food goes, I set my expectations super low since I've had a lot of disappointing meals in CO so far. Somehow this restaurant still managed to disappoint us all though. All of our dishes were so bland, with the exception of the salad and garlic knots. The garlic knots were probably the best thing we had during our meal. No amount of salt, pepper, parmesan, or red pepper flakes could've saved the entrees. My pasta was so floppy I could hardly pick it up with my fork, and the marsala sauce was lacking so much umami and other flavors. I could hardly taste the marsala and I personally don't like milk or cream added to the sauce--that's the first time I've had it that way and it's a hard pass. We left probably 90% of our food because it was that flavorless. Maybe the worst Italian food I've had out of all the restaurants I've dined at, in and outside of the U.S. More than $70 for this meal, not including the tip--definitely not worth it! I'll be cooking Italian meals at home from now on. Don't recommend.

It always about carb loading during training more so on race weekend. Nice bowl of pasta alway my go to day before the race. We found Italian spot near our BnB in Boulder.Gondolier Italian Eatery is lot nicer than it looks from the outside. It located in small shopping center on one end and really sign outside basic nothing sticks out. The minute walk inside impressed nice, modern, and upscale vibe to it. The bar area like set up decent size length and tv above, dining room assortment of tables to booths elevated above little bit and feel own space. It decent size restaurant in back enough room they do private party or events. The menu is pretty big and diverse. It defiantly has all your favorite Italian food and daily specials. I ended up ordering penne bolognese. I wanted try garlic knots so got order. They have do have Happy Hour menu. The pasta was delicious and hearty. Garlic knots nice and hot. Moist tore piece apart on point. It balance between buttery and garlic flavor. Overall classic Italian done right. The service five stars. Our server she was awesome!!

We haven't been here in a hot minute and it's in our neighborhood so we went for pizza and wine. It's a great place for locals and an institution in Boulder. Nice, quiet, and off the mall. The service was great and friendly. We order a glass of house wine which is delicious, and put in our order for a Caesar salad to share and a pizza with pepperoni and mushroom and jalapeño ONLY if they were fresh and not jarred. There is a place for jarred jalapeños, and on our pizza we prefer fresh. Our waitress said she would ask and we let her know that if they weren't fresh we would just have extra mushrooms. Good news, she reported back that the jalapeños were fresh. So we are our salad and sipped our wine while we waited for our pizza. The salad was good, the dressing in the side made it better so we can decide how much we want. They split the salad for us without us asking which was so thoughtful. The pizza came and looked amazing . . . except, the jalapeños were definitely jarred. We decided to try it and not return it. They actually had the perfect amount of heat. So while we didn't want the pickles flavor with our pizza, it was still delicious. I think it was the crust that did it. It was cooked to perfection being crispy on the edges and chewy in the middle. Yummers! So I'm giving them 5 stars even though the charge for jalapeños that we didn't order were left on the ticket because we ate it and enjoyed it. But next time, we shouldn't have to pay for items we didn't order. A neighborhood go-to and we will be back.

Izzie was an amazing server as well as a host. She did everything!! The food was fantastic as well. I highly recommend the mushroom ravioli and the spaghetti. Enrique also helped us out with the food as making drinks. Both amazing staff.

We were shocked when we picked up one $50 pizza! Beware each additional topping is 3 to 6 dollars. The pizza was just ok nothing special not even hot. We called in so did not see the pricing. Definitely not worth the price.

Pretty decent for cheap Italian & they make their own pasta. Noodles have a different shape & I believe they include a salad. Just haven't been there in a while. Decent pizza. Small mom & pop type place.

Our favorite family restaurant has another great success with the end of summer specials. Palisade Peaches, wonderful garden fresh vegetables and delicious peach sangria! Absolutely fabulous! Always good but exceptional specials. You must have the peach dessert.

Staff was very friendly. The bread on my sandwich was pretty stale. Parts were rock hard. My kid's spaghetti was good though.
