Golden City Brewery

One the best breweries I have been to, so far. Colorado has several, but the staff is top notch, knowledgeable, and inviting. The atmosphere is laid back and on a good day, not busy so you can choose where to sit. Under the tree is lovely, quiet enough to have conversation, entertaining music, and good options for a snack! LOVE

Cool little spot in the Golden area. There is a service window if you want to order outside, or a small taproom where you can sit inside. As far as food goes, they had some bites, but we didn't order anything. A few people around us were eating and seemed pleased.It was a dreary, rainy day, so it was pretty dead while we were there. A few folks were enjoying pints, and the bartender was holding it down well. The beer was good. The prices were solid, and the atmosphere could be fun on a better day. Check it out if you are doing a beer crawl in the area.

GCB is pretty solid, especially for a smaller brewery. They expanded during the pandemic, a fabulous surprise when we recently visited again. I'd say they maybe tripled their seating area and have lots of cool areas and spaces outdoors to sit down, lounge and enjoy your craft beer with friends. I always appreciate breweries that offer sours, so thank you, GCB. And, this sour was a twist on their porter - I'm not sure I've had a sour porter before. Sounds a bit off but tasted wonderful. What a great way to round out our time in Golden.

Great beer and great service. I had the clear creek kolsh. Delicious! My wife had the non alcoholic Octoberfest. All good here come by if you are in town.

Fantastic little beer garden in Golden! It's a bit off the beaten path but well worth it. We enjoyed our pretzel and a few beers. Super friendly staff and lots of seating to choose from. The beer was delicious and a nice treat after a long hike up Lookout Mountain. Get here, try it out!

Visited Colorado last month and found Golden City Brewery. Yummy brews! Cute patio area, with lots of dogs around which I loved. Snacks were okay, the large pretzel was a little hard but the dip was yummy. Definitely would come back for a drink!

Awesome brewery! It is an outside brewery but most of the tables have little fire pits on them to keep you warm. Great beer selection. They also had some wine and liquor options. There's a small menu with some small bite options. We got the spinach dip and it was tasty! Very dog friendly. They even offer a pup cup and pup charcuterie! How cute is that?! We'll definitely be back :)

This use to be one of my favorite breweries in Colorado. Sadly, that time has passed. Stopped in after a trip from Idaho Springs. I tried an Evolution and my partner tried a Black Hops. The beers tasted dirty, not fresh, and definitely not the quality we use to expect from GCB. Maybe the additions of glitter-bomb, fruity and sours made them lose focus on the good, straightforward beers they were known for in Colorado. I love the expanded patio and covered area. However, the space as a whole is less inviting than it was in the past. It seems little care has been given maintenance or basic cleanliness. The restroom was filthy and the door lock was broken, and a pile of trash was visible near the outside tables. So disappointing for a long time beloved brewery.

Great brewery in Golden! They have plenty of drinks besides beer. I got the prickly pear cider which was good. They also have wine and slushees. I love their slushees they are so so yummy! Great outdoor patio space that is huge! Also has heaters for colder weather. Sometimes they have music and food trucks. Highly recommend!

First beer is good so far. Pretzel was a little hard. Nice outdoor seating for all.
