Genji Ramen and Sushi Bar At Whole Foods

We stopped in for the first time today and were blown away. How is it that we haven't heard about Genji Ramen and Sushi Bar, its awesome. The service was excellent, the server was quick to say hello and super knowledgeable about the beers, sake and food. Service was fast, timely and friendly. Yes, its in the Whole Foods, but don't be fooled, it will surprise you for its quality and value. We had has the Spicy Miso Ramen with chicken. The broth brings just the right amount of heat and a deep earthy flavor with several pieces of moist and tender chicken breast. Vastly superior to any local Pho. The sushi and poke look delicious and fresh. We missed the Happy Hour but will be back to to take advantage of the savings. The bar is modern, clean and welcoming and the patio has a killer fire pit and ample outdoor seating. A fun place to get together with friends that is undiscovered, but not for long. Castle Rock, check out Genji Ramen and Sushi, is a winner!

When the heck is this thing open? Seriously it's never been open anytime I've been in to WF and I've come in on tons of different days and different times.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIMEAs another reviewer stated, their hours are very limited & your order will probably get cxld. like mine.First, I called Whole Foods to find out if they were open. Was told "yes, but they close at 3pm" It was only 2pm, so placed order via Uber Eats. Received confirmation. I drove over to Whole Foods to pick-up and when I got there, employee said they just canceled the order.Why? It's not 3pm.I was told they are now cleaning & getting ready to close.Are you kidding me?!I asked to try and find another option/solution. Employee called manager on the phone to speak with me.He was 100% unhelpful and couldn't help find a solution.Mind you...there was plenty of sushi in the case ready to buy. I was asking for the same promo Uber Eats gave me.Left unsatisfied and will never return.Don't recommend anyone else go through this (promise you will)

I wanted to update my review. I haven't been here for long time because I didn't want to waste my time because of its unreliable hours. Today it was open!!! But the guy come out and said I'd have to wait 10 minutes because he's on the phone with his manager.... So I guess nobody in this store knows how to make ramen? Thanks for wasting my time, again.

Ramen from a stall in the grocery store? Hey, why not? And considering they deliver, who cares? The loaded chicken gyoza were plump and deeply golden brown, which gave a savory depth to the affair. The spicy tuna sushi "bombs" ... um, okay ... were rolls of seaweed, rice and cucumbers topped with a tidy mound of fresh, spicy tuna with bits of crispy rice and fresh ginger to bring the crunch.The spicy miso ramen comes with chili flake and oil to get to the level of heat you crave in the flavorful yet not entirely revelatory broth. Noodles and broth come separately, which helps prevent soggy noodles. And the soft-cooked egg is sexy. You might not swear you're in Tokyo, but this is a solid meal when you need a change.

Took the whole fam for dinner. We were skeptical considering it is inside a Whole Foods. We ordered original ramen and spicy ramen, both with chicken. Upon the first sip of broth, we were blown away by the deliciousness. Very flavorful and good portions too. We will definitely be going back!

WOW! Everything was delicious! We ordered off of UberEats, and were so pleasantly surprised. Everything was packed perfectly for to go, and everything was SO TASTY! We got Ramen and Gyoza, and a sushi roll. We will be ordering again!!!!

My boyfriend and I have eaten here multiple times since it's opened. The spicy pork ramen is delicious! The sushi is great as well! Both of us have been to Japan and it tastes surprisingly authentic.

Outstanding Ramen, such a great quick dinner when I'm out shopping at Wholefoods. I've also had the gyoza and it was very authentic tasting, with just the right amount of spice. Excellent customer serivce as well.

The people working there were really kind and helpful. The ramen was good, but it took about 45 minutes to get it for a to go order. Because of that I give it 3/5 because it wasn't good enough to wait for that long.
