I am from Miami where the Haitian food is plenty. It was very refreshing to have a taste of Haiti in Denver. Be warned, the food is addicting. THIS PLATE DID NOT MAKE IT HOME!!! Kudos to the chef! They were also really nice people so definitely support this business!

Fritay was one of many Vendors available during festivities downtown over the weekend. What caught my eye, however, was the whole snapper- one of my favorite dishes, offered on the menu. This comes with 3 sides as well for a very reasonable price. Great things come in time and that was very true in this case, but the wait is still not too long either! The staff was also very friendly and communicative about preparing our order and when it would be ready. On top of the 3 sides: Plantains, Macaroni salad, and beans with rice, this dish is served with tomato gravy and pickled cabbage. The tomato gravy is mild, but flavorful and the cabbage gives a great acidity to the snapper! I generally find macaroni salad to be bland, but this one was seasoned so well that it was spicy without being too hot. The plantains were a great palate cleanser and the beans and rice were generous. I look forward to finding this food truck again and trying the fried goat next!

Since I've moved to Denver in 2020 there are very few food establishments that I've enjoyed. This food was great! The flavor was amazing, service was fast, great customer service, and convenient location. I look forward to trying more items during my next visit.

Poor communication. Tried to visit the food truck. It was a no show at the last minute.

I was so excited to find Fritay here in Denver. Speaking as a Haitian person who grew up eating home-cooked and restaurant-cooked Haitian food... this food is very bad. I've tried it twice and it just got worse. Every time I have had the fried plantains, they have been dry and stale or dripping with oil. Honestly, if I served any of her dishes to my family members, that would be the last time they ever spoke to me. The service on my second order was awful. If this is Denver's only Haitian food option, we're better off without.

Had the chicken platter at a Food Truck and Fair festival in Glenwood, Co today. The crew was nice; however, the chicken was a let down. I was fine with it not being coated in flour prior to frying; however, it was bland. The rice and peas were seasoned well, the Mac was a-little dry but okay. We enjoyed the plantains. I expected Haitian flavors from a Haitian food truck after eating Haitian food prepared by a Haitian friend so years back. I may give them a try again down the road.
