I worked for Firehouse Subs, went to Florida for Training with corporate. They would be appalled at this location.Cleanliness. Quality. Service. All subpar.Manager appeared for a grand total of 1 minute. The 2 girls and I'm guessing a lead were doing ok but couldn't keep up with the 4 people waiting for sandwiches. When you bite into a sandwich and it tastes sour you know something is wrong. I threw it. Do better. Please

The staff was great and friendly. No waiting. The establishment was clean for the most part. Ordered the Hook and Ladder. I had to remake the sandwich. The big dig was the vegetables on the sandwich. The tomatoes were disgusting and lettuce was browning. It could have been an off day. In my opinion some quality control needed to be had. Once again the staff was great.

Nice location right across from The Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora.I've never eaten at a Firehouse Subs and my sister just so happened to have a gift card, so we stopped by for a late lunch.The restaurant is clean and spacious. There's lots of room for multiple parties. The staff were very positive and nice, but the food was lacking. First off, they never asked if we were dining in or doing take out. I guess they thought we were ordering take-out because they placed every single item in to-go boxes and then in a nice paper bag. That's lots of waste for people who were eating in the restaurant. Then, my sister opened her box and they got her build your own sandwich wrong. It was the right meat and bread, but they added other toppings that she didn't ask for. Fortunately, they fixed it with no problems and were super nice about it. Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket. Okay, this was actually pretty good, just needed more meat. This wouldn't be my go to sandwich shop, but I do like their mission.

It's honestly impressive how long it takes to get 2 sandwiches here. We waited for almost an HOUR and there were only 2 people ahead of us! This is ridiculous! We could have gone out to dinner, had several drinks and driven home by the time it took them to make 2 sandwiches. Safe to say i will never step foot in a firehouse subs again.

I had never been here but the place doesn't stink like a subway does and the staff was super friendly. The Italian sub was great. The chili was ok. Good experience!

So my fiancé ordered tonight through the app, a good hour before they closed and set it for pick up at 8:10p. This meal was supposed to be a special for his birthday, he also had accumulated rewards and a free birthday sub he wanted to utilize. I know, firehouse for a birthday, but he's a few weeks shy of having back surgery and is literally stuck in bed. All he wanted was firehouse subs and after a terrible day of my own, I didn't exactly feel like cooking. So I drive from Derby (northeast of Commerce City) down to Aurora to pick up his birthday meal. Upon arriving and asking for our meal at 8:15, the young, African American girl behind the counter, said that the store no longer Carried the prime rib sub and that I needed to call the customer. She then proceeded to get a bit rude about the order and was still talking to me as if I was picking it up for delivery with GrubHub or something. You know, things you might say to a coworker about a customer who's annoyed you by ordering, AFTER they leave, not to their face. When I explained that it was our personal order, her demeanor changed & she had that "oh crap" look on her face. I told her I was going to ask my fiancé what he wanted to do and stepped away from the counter. Fast forward to the text conversation with my fiancé who then asked for a NY Steamer. I asked her if she could make it in place of the prime rib and she said yes, and by her previous words "I can't make their subs", I had assumed she could not make my veggie sub either. So I clarified and she said she could make both of our subs, I said great. I Started to sit down to wait only for her to now say, less than 30 seconds after she told me she could, that she couldn't make a veggie sub either now. Any time I wanted any sub, she just kept acting like she was gonna start making it and then said she couldn't make it after she pulled the paper wrapper down to start.I'm not stupid, but as a former manager of 13 years, you don't put your food away an hour before close, cause inevitably someone is going to come in and order. I mean to give her some credit, she never said she didn't have the ingredients, she literally said she can't make it.How hard is it to put cheese and veggies on a roll? How does a sub place not have any veggies or cheese? It's not like I came in 5 mins before close. The younger guy with glasses who was sweeping up, kept looking at me and at her with a look like she wasn't supposed to be denying service or refusing to make an online order.I did nothing to this girl besides walk in and ask for the order that we paid for. I wasnt even rude back to her after she was talking to me like I was a delivery driver. I wasn't rude when she was lying straight to my face and refusing to provide the service we paid for either. I simply told her to make sure she canceled it and I walked out.Do better, hire better staff, or at least staff who's willing to maybe make subs at a sub place over an hour before closing? Not asking for perfection here, just the ability to fulfill what was paid for. And for gods sake, please make sure the order was cancelled, I'd hate for her to have lifted a finger to press a button on a computer to cancel it. That's Probably way too much work for her to do.I'm Not sure who left her in charge, but they need to reevaluate having her making anything, because she "can't make it". That's not how you do things in customer service. I'd say we wanted his birthday sub since it's likely gone and if not, it'll be expired cause you only get your birthday week to use it, but after this trip, we'll never step foot in this store again, probably any firehouse again. It's sad, the daytime manager, Judy?, petite, mature woman and that staff that works with her, they're awesome. Never had a single issue in the years of going there during the day. So I don't blame her, only to the point of her potentially leaving this girl in charge and that being a big mistake. And just a little FYI, my fiancé and all his coworkers from yellow freight orders huge orders every Friday from y'all, weekly for years. But I should say ordered, cause he's the one who paid for the orders on Fridays. Luckily there's 5 other sub places within 2 miles of this firehouse and after this experience, you can bet they won't be ordering lunches from this firehouse again. Thanks for ruining his birthday the rest of the way after his debit card was stolen, Cherry on top of a lovely day for a man in his mid 30s who can't walk or get out of bed, awaiting a back surgery who just wanted a sub, real great customer service y'all have there!

This location is constantly in full mode dysfunction. Always a ridiculous wait time even when not busy. Began using the app to order ahead. Order 15/20 minutes ahead .. still have to wait 20 minutes in store for them to make it ..Not worth the aggravation. They've screwed up way too many lunch breaks.
