Nondescript, easy to overlook, tiny strip mall location. Feels more like a bar inside than a restaurant. So much so that I had to ask the bartender if they even served food. I thought maybe they couldn't afford a new sign out front for their new bar. There are very few tables one could truly dine at, and lots of little tables with comfy chairs around them like you'd find at a hookah bar. There is a pool table, a small stage where bands appear to perform, a bar with three TVs, and an espresso machine. Interesting mix of treatments. The food, however, was no joke. I tried to order a samusa, but they were all out for the day. For my meal, I ordered the tibs firfir. The portion that arrived was massive, covered entirely by injira. The flavors were fantastic, and I savored every bite until the injira got cold, which could have taken longer. The staff were polite and friendly, making small talk when they saw I knew a little about Ethiopia and their cuisine. I would return if I found myself in the area again.
